    Hey.

Quick question, do VM ask for bank statements because I have provided these to the broker, but so far VM haven't asked for them.

Payslips, ID, bills yes .... bank statements no....

I got asked to provide proof of deposit so had to send them my bank statement. Partner wasn't asked to provide hers.

I had been told by VM they had everything they needed then at the very last minute they told me they needed bank statements. They said this was to prove I was paying my salary into a UK bank account.

Ok thanks, that shouldn't happen to me, I've paid my legal costs up front.

Broker has advised today that he requires two signed mortgage declarations and a direct debit mandate.

Anyone know what mortgage declarations might entail?

Managed to get hold of the broker who explained these declarations just require signatures, so fairly straight forward.

Strangely, to my knowledge, VM have not requested income and expenditure details from me.

I did provide some very basic information to the broker at the beginning of the process, but nothing detailed.

As far as I am aware VM now have or will shortly have the valuation transcript from the recent Home Report, so in theory my application should be with the underwriter soon.

Can anyone comment on the income and expenditure aspect?

Have others not provided this or will I be asked to provide it soon?
