Tried to relist from unsold and also list from new but still not letting it go throu for free...
will check dashboard as you suggest....thanks
Does sound like you may haver slipped below standard as a seller.
Ebay should email you though, if thats the case.0 -
Is it actually supposed to be a free listing weekend this weekend?
This link suggests that it is:
http://pages.ebay.co.uk/promos/0IF_130329/index.html
But I just listed some stuff (just clothes and stuff with starting prices of about £15.00) and have been charged the full listing fees.

morganedge- I have merged your thread with the main one in case other people are having difficulty as someone else asked yesterday.
I have listed three items and relisted 2 without a charge (really not able to work up the enthusiasm to list more at the moment). There has been no mention on the ebay boards about issues either.
Have you checked everything you are listing still qualifies, all the usual- not listing in a second category, not using a third party lister etc and not fallen before standard?
It would be interesting to see if other people are able to list or not to see if it could be a very localised glitch.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Hi Sooling. I just checked my dashborad as per your suggestion, at it looks like I have 'slipped below standard'! I'm amazed. Is it possible this could be a mistake?
Item as described 4.91 0.00% (0)
Communication 4.84 0.00% (0)
Dispatch time 4.88 0.00% (0)
Postage and packaging charges 4.59 2.72% (5)
So I guess that's why I was charged?
Secondly, Why is there not a warning before you confirm the fees when listing?
On typical free days, It shows you the amount you would usually be charged, you click confirm, and THEN the price is crossed out and replaced with zero.
Isn't that a really unfair way of doing it? Do they need to update their system to stop people being hoodwinked?0 -
Morganedge, your only problem is the p&p charges DSR. Looking at your averages, if you were to list a number of cheaper items that are p&p free, (assuming you are a smaller seller) you may be able to quickly claw your way back to standard.

Ouch, you are below standard by the meerest whisper on your P and P , hardly a hairs breadth. You need to check the rest of your expanded dashboard and make sure nothing else is showing- if not you can easily recover your P and P but you'll need to work quickly. Whatever you do don't stop selling, get some cheap low cost items listed with free postage and bump up your overall percentage to above 4.6 again.
As for th elisting costs, I have never seen anything other than '£0 ' when listing on the free listings for the past few years, if it doesn't say my listing will be free I go back and check what it is that I have inadvertently ticked or overlooked.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. It looks that way.
I get such happy, positive feedback all the time, that I had no idea I was 'below standard'!
If they think my postage charges are too high, then they shouldn't bid on my items, surely??!0
