Good morning everyone
No more snow but it's colder than ever. I'm dreaming of a white Easter?
Am finding it very difficult to be motivated this week, I need a good kick up the backside. Am supposed to be decluttering and sorting out an area to paint and am currently doing nothing. I am still mourning my little pal and am very concerned about the other two, who are extremely quiet and the house is just not the same.
Am thinking of going to an auction ... but DH is under strict instructions not to buy more clutter. We shall see.
Have started, or rather am contemplating starting, the 5:2 diet so need to think about low calorie food for fasting days too. Maybe next week ......

Morning all,
Still no snow here but freezing cold, although the washing is drying really well as its so blowy. I feel so terribly sorry for those people and poor animals stuck in the snow.
Dropping dd at work this morning then home to do some paperwork, should take me an hour or so, will then have a good clean upstairs and walk the dog, yesterday we had 3 quick walks over the field, was too cold to be out for more than 15 mins.
Dinner tonight will be something to do with leftover chicken, might do a risotto, or fried rice.
take care everyone and keep warm xx0 -

Plan for today, painting rooms, doing paperwork, and sorting things out ready for when the kids are off. Need to make bread to, we seem to be going through tons of it lately.
Think we might have stuffed chicken and risotto for tea. The risotto is cooked just need to defrost chicken

Sun is shining, no snow and the wind seems to have calmed down a bit. This morning will take a run to work and sort myself some shifts for next week, as the manager is on holiday this week!

Hi Guys!
Bad night for me last night and woke up in pain half a dozen times and my OH had to keep turning me as I couldn't move:o...in the end I took extra morphine and slept for 3 hours but was very stiff when I woke. Nurse came in at 7 and gave me an injection and helped my spasm muscles as the pain in legs were excruciating! Feeling a little more with it now. Luckily OH hasn't much work on till later, so he can relax a little.
OH is downstairs doing some bacon and eggs as the pain killers make me feel a little sick and need something in my tummy. Him and DD also having some, so not just cooking for me. I have the HM sausage casserole on baked spud for lunch and dinner is gammon and mash I think.
Anyway, cant stop too long as really not too good.
Hope you're all ok.

Morning All,
Had a good night's sleep last night. Took an amitriptyline and went out like a light.
DD is waiting to hear from the hospital as to whether she needs some blood or not.
Making a chilli at the moment. Will have that for dinner, and freeze the rest.
It's cold out there today!:snow_laug No snow though.
My Uncles' funeral will be on 11th April, so hopefully we can go this time.
Daddy seems okay. He rang yesterday to say he had been taken to the lounge for some entertainers, and he enjoyed it. I'm still worried about his weight though.
MIL is still in hospital. All tests are okay, but they are worried about her irregular heart rythmn. OH is coming home today I think. He has to organize some care for her when she gets out though, at least to make sure she eats.
Pennypincher ((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))) know how you feel!
Have a good day.I Believe in saving money!!!:T

Good morning
Best wishes to all who aren't having a good time of it at the moment.
I've walked down to the shops to get my TV magazine and the wind is still very cold, so cold it made my eyes water. I had tears streaming down my face, I hope no one saw me!
My plans today are ebay photography. I saw my friend yesterday, who is decluttering, but doesn't have time to sell things online, so I do it on her behalf. She gave me a stack of stuff, so I'm going to get stuck into it.
Dinner tonight will be corned beef hash. I've had a strange craving for corned beef, so I thought I'd buy some.
Have a good day.Early retired - 18th December 2014

Morning all,
ffffrreezing here but no snow. I ended up having 2x DGDs yesterday for 7hrs so precious little got done. I stripped the chicken and boiled the carcas so the stock will be turned into chick & noodle soup later.
Dinner tonight is spag bol and garlic bread. I must use some peppers and cheese up so that will be turned into a quiche for DH's lunch tomorrow. I have to venture out as I want to stock up on half price legs of lamb, B Eye petit pois, F liquid and chick breasts at Mr. T's.
I bought one of those KG8 deals for a stay in a Hotel but when I tried to book a room I was asked by the Hotel manager if I had a coupon. When I said yes he said they were fully booked for the next 4 mths but they have a room available for the day after my voucher expired.
Not a happy bunny so I contacted KG8 Deals, they checked and agreed he was being a pr*t. This morning I received my £89 refund plus a £10 voucher off my next purchase.
Oh well the bathrooms aren't gonna clean themselves so best I get on with it.
((((hugs)))) to all poorlies 2 and 4 legged.0
