I think you need genuine help.
You have spent £41 on jeans that you say have a crappy zip and are made of low quality denim.
But now that you think that they are genuine designer jeans, you are happy and quite pleased with yourself for saving all that money.
In my opinion you have wasted £41 on cheaply made designer tat but if it makes you happy maybe it is money well spent.
No offence intended. I’m just expressing my opinion.
Just for info.......
I've never owned a pair of designer jeans before and thought I'd save a few bob, buy on ebay and try them out. You're right they are crappy denim and the zip is rubbishy and I am disappointed that they are not as good as I expected them to be.....however........
Now I am safe in the knowledge that they ARE the REAL THING, I can quite happily and honestly put them back on eBay, and flog them off to someone else who will appreciate them much more than I ever could. I'll probably even make a profit too!!
So my first delve into designer?? well, tried it, not impressed and probably won't bother again, but I will more than likely make a little extra on the side.... (hence the reason I'm so happy)
So there you go...

I have to admit that I'd never even heard of the brand.
Tis nice being old and naive!0 -
I'm sure some people who commented on spending £xx on 'designer jeans' as ridiculous probably spend money on items that the OP might deem ridiculous.0

This reminds me of back in the olden days when my Aunt was an accessories buyer for a major european chain. Her collagues purchased a fake chanel bag for a few pounds at a market in Korea and compared it to the genuine bag she had purchased from a Chanel Boutique.
She was mightily dissapointed to discover that the fake bag was better made with better stitching and from a higher quality leather. Most fakes are tat but I think its a interesting point to remember - along with the fact that fakes are theft...
I'm wearing Asda jeans at the moment and they are great, but they do not make me look half as good as the fantastic ted baker jeans I used to wear. I was off the opinion that this site was about getting what you wanted at a better price be that a designer couture dress or a can of value beans. We all have our own personal value system about what we are willing to spend money on and what we are not thats down to us all as individuals and whilst you may disagree with a persons choice making generalised insults about what kind of a person they are is just plain wrong.
Clearly another Vaucous Airhead.0 -
Ah, I just bought a nice pair of bargain Levi's. I paid $5 plus 6% tax in Wal-Mart. Priced on shelf at $17.96 was very impressed when i checked the receipt later on and saw $5!! Best brand buy I've every had anyway.0

"I don’t think anyone is judging anyone else, we are all just commenting and expressing our opinions.
MSE is first and foremost a money saving site and in my opinion spending £150, or even £41 on a cheaply made low quality pair of jeans cannot be considered to be money saving.
How does a bit of pink embroidery turn a £2 pair of jeans into a £150 pair?
In my experience and opinion, most buyers of expensive “designer” tat are vacuous airheads. The only people who actually recognise that a particular pair of jeans are a “designer” pair are other vacuous airheads.
So, if you want to impress vacuous airheads, go ahead and buy and wear £150 jeans.
Otherwise buy a well made, high quality and long lasting pair from ASDA or Tesco for £3.
That is money saving.
No offence intended to vacuous airheads. "
Sounds like judgement to me!Surely if people get pleasure from getting a bargain on designer gear then that's ok? I've never worn designer in my life, but if that's what rocks your boat then good luck to you, I would consider getting designer gear for loads less than designers sell them for is a great thing!

Each to his own , people. The person was asking for information from a site he trusts, not a lecture. I would never (until I win the lottery) buy jeans at that price, however i smoke £5.00 every day. this doesnt make me look better, but perhaps the jeans will, for this person, give them a luvlly bum, a more pronounced lunchbox or flatten a wee tummy bulge. As I say "each to his own":T:jDabbler in all things moneysaving.Master of none:o
