The sum total of your contributions to MSE is to attempt to stir up trouble and nothing to do with PV/FIT.

For the record, I most certainly have NEVER reported you for posting under a different name. If I had done so I would posted on here that I had reported you.

I think you might have confused me with another poster. Whilst I have no idea if he reported you and IIRC you were not named, but from my reading of his posts you fitted the bill. It also placed our Guru Martyn in a quandry and he stopped thanking you.

Yet again, you get it completely wrong.

The posts were only yesterday, but you seem to have forgotten what was said. Is that a deliberate modus operandi?

Just for the record, please point out where anyone has accused you of reporting me?

I pointed out that you reported someone else for accusing you of being someone else.

Yet, you not so long ago were doing the same thing, accusing me of being someone else. Classy?

I don't know why you mention Martyn1981 thanking me or not, I do recall you Thanking The_Green_Man for a while, then stopping. Why was that?

As to "The sum total of your contributions to MSE is to attempt to stir up trouble and nothing to do with PV/FIT."

    Pot Kettle Black?

I think I have often posted links and related FACTS about PV/FiTs. I only see you posting repetitive stuff that has been ridiculed and corrected numerous times.

Like I said, I hope the hypocrisy isn't lost on everyone reading.

    P.S.

In the case of PV/FIT there is a cabal of self-satisfied posters who apparently cannot tolerate any posts that hold a counter view. Some of their posts, like yours, are reminiscent of a gang of schoolchildren who urge each other to ignore someone.

Readers can decide for themselves[sic] if they are members of that cabal.

This is an example of the snide remarks I have come to expect from you. Neither classy or informative.

I'd like to thank those people who have contributed useful information regarding the financial viability of PV. I'll need to look into planning permission for floor-mounted panels, and get some quotes for the work before progressing.

Regarding the ethics of the feed-in-tariff, i am quite capable of making up my own mind, in consultation with friends and family, and have absolutely no interest in what strangers on this forum have to say. In fact I stopped looking at this thread shortly after it was hijacked by the bee-in-their-bonnet brigade. If you think you are persuading anyone by continually ear-bashing us, then I think you should know that you achieve quite the opposite.
I would suggest you state your point once, and then stop being so irritating.

Hiya Tycoed, just looked back to see what I said, and a slight concern ... Oops! I said that the current rate 15.44p was safe till 31/7/13. Although the reviews are carried out every 3 months, the summer one is being brought forward a month, to bring it into line with others (?). So the tariff change date will be 1/7/13.

The new rate will depend on the 'degression' and this is based on the amount installed in the qtr one before, so 1/2/13 to 30/4/13. (Installs look to have picked up).

Additionally, there have been 2 qtr's without a degression, and the rules say there can't be 3 in a row, so even if installs are low (less than 100MWp) a minimum 3.5% degression will be applied.

Hope this makes some sense, and I'll try to post Aug rates once they are announced May onwards.

I know I've posted this info before but possibly not in this thread.

When fitting my panels, my contractor was also working on a couple of ground-mounted tracking arrays for a neighbour. The planning position in NE Derbys was that one such array would have been a permitted development but a single frame holds a maximum of 8 panels (2kWp) and PP was needed for a second frame. Rule is probably same throughout country but it might just be liable to local interpretation.

SPs on a tracking array were expected to be approx 20% better than roof mounted ones. Although my neighbour & I use exactly the same models of panels and inverter we've never actually compared yields to verify that.

Thank you for your suggestion, however there are new people joining MSE all the time and, as this is an internet Forum, it does them no harm to read eminently sensible articles from people like George Monboit.

If you find any opinions expressed on this section of MSE unpalatable then you can always put those posters on ‘ignore’ and then you will not get irritated.

Some of us find the input from vested interests on MSE both ill-informed and at times downright silly, so we are entitled to express our opinion for the benefit of newcomers.
