I have been to Boots for the 5th day in a row. This thread has a huge amount to answer for. I'm now asking friends and family if they need any toiletries etc and they think I've gone mad. Today was VERY dissapointing. Got a few reduced mens FCUK items but everything else was full-price. I want points but no points offers were displayed other than 500 for extortionate fake tan.

However I did spot a GWP for the new FCUK range. I meant to double back and investigate further but only remembered when I hit the ground floor and didn't have the energy to go back.

I'm hoping the points offers improve soon. How frequently do these deals change?

I've been after a pushchair from Boots for quite a while, but was waiting for a special offer. 2weeks ago an offer started with 20% off, but are out of stock at both my local stores and online. I travelled an hour to somewhere else to try, found it in stock, but full price (£20 more) I asked the SA about the 20% offer, but she said that it ended the day before. I left it as I didn't want to pay the extra, only to find its still 20% off online and in my local store until 3rd July (but still out of stock).
I rang the store an hour away and they are now out of stock as well.

The point is - surely the sale is the same at all boots stores, and can I make them honour the 20% off after the offer has ended but the product is in stock???!
I'm getting older, and lifes getting harder!

Mmm, tricky one... depends on your values really! I found £50 in a cash machine a few weeks ago and handed it in. Someone did go back to the bank to report they'd left their cash there by mistake and when they realised it had been handed in they insisted on the bank contacting me and giving me the money anyway as it had restored their faith in human nature!!! Honesty does pay in some cases although admittedly it hasn't always been like that!

I would imagine that if you did tell Boots they'd probably give you a bonus but who knows?

When i used to work for boots we used to be able to branch transfers so it could be possible to get them to transfer you one. Orlaith85 may be able to advise further as she still works there. HTH

Picked up a stop smoking pack yesterday in a non-local boots (so OH could have a lolly!) I shook them all looking for the dinky little jar and the SA came over and asked me what I was doing. I just said "the master told me I must" in a very silly voice and he *ran* away.... Don't think I could have pulled that one off in my home store. :rotfl: :rotfl:

Didn't get a dinky jar though.

You nutter! Poor man, is it not enough stress for him that he works in a store filled with make-up, condoms and sanitary items? Let alone you having a breakdown there! :rotfl:

You have just made me grateful that the boots here is tiny and staff don't care!

Yes as far as I'm aware you can get items transfered although it depends on how busy the store is that you want the item sent from, they might not want to send it if they have a high demand for the item.
