Have just gone to pick my points up and instead of £44 I have got £440 what shall I do spend them quick or what? Need some advice quickley. I bought something that I had a reation to bad and shoudl have just had 4400points added but there are 44000 on.

This happened to us years ago, only with tesco points. I don't know if anyone remembers but you use to get Tesco points in B&Q (I think it was on kitchens and bathrooms) Anyway we bought some kitchen units for about £500 and ended up with £50,000 worth in points. The did realise their error and telephoned us to say there had obviously been a mistake and we must have spent £5,000 rather than £50,000. We just agreed and quickly spent the extra points.

I'd say wait a week or so and then spend them
Look after the pennies and the £££s will look after themselves

Picked up a stop smoking pack yesterday in a non-local boots (so OH could have a lolly!) I shook them all looking for the dinky little jar and the SA came over and asked me what I was doing. I just said "the master told me I must" in a very silly voice and he *ran* away.... Don't think I could have pulled that one off in my home store. :rotfl: :rotfl:

Didn't get a dinky jar though.

    You've probably traumatised them!! I love it.:T

Cool, thanks for the piccy gsysezz! It's priced at 5 quid on the shelf edge label in my store as well as having the signs up saying you get it free with an 8 quid spend, so it probably would cost 5 quid if it just happened to be scanned on its own.

(...last time I got asked what I was doing in Boots (years ago) by a really rude SA (again not in my home county) - I told her I was just looking to see the colour of the lipstick in the No7 GWP (which was true) then started scratching my head and asked if the pharmacy stocked anything for headlice. She just faltered and ran away really really fast.....I don't understand, I guess I'm just not a people person :D :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:)

Next time scratch your crotch and ask for crab cream

Together we can make a difference.

Do you know what, I would be suprised if they notice.

I would wait a week then start spending... You may get some funny looks at the till from the assistants with that many points....:rotfl: :rotfl: So be prepared for any comments :rotfl:

    :T Lucky you :T

I had a lovely SA today went and searched through the face creams until she found one she thought would be suitable for my skin - and I didn't even ask, she just saw me studying the backs of the pots and asked if she could help! Also got two large tubs of very basic cold cream on the reduced stand for a pound. Very pleased!

Have just sent off my thank you letter :)

JUst thought I'd mention that I got the 100pts for spending £10 voucher from ACM today, despite not receiving the email about it. This was on top of a 75pts for spending £10 voucher as well, and it's valid until 14th August. It wasn't in the first machine I tried either, so persevere!

I also found a 256mb memory card reduced to £5, so got that with the 500pts voucher. They had a couple of these, and some 64mb ones for £3.99, so worth a look for anyone in Reading. (This was the Oracle centre store.)

    :)
