    hi, i don't know if anyone has already posted this, but in boots - you could pick up a quit smoking pack - FREE in it it contained a whole load of coupons for points and money off for things related to smoking, but in it, it had a sample of garnier shampoo, a lolly pop and a chewing gum.

    there was also a pack for FREE - 7 steps to a beach body, it contained a load of leaflets, on how to get the perfect figure, but you got a free nail file, in it.
  • Hi all..

    just a quick question;
    If an item is advertised as BOGOF, and I take 2 and going to pay by using the points, do they deduct the points once (BOGOF), or twice (BOGOF doesnt valid when paying by using points etc.)

    TIA

    I bought reduced stuff on BOGOF yesterday and they only took off the amount of pounts it would cost you by paying cash eg 2 x 75p on BOGOF leaves 75p to pay therefore 75 points taken off if you pay by points.

    West Quay Retail Park store have the Philips Sensiflex HX1513 Rechargable Toothbrush, with 3 heads included, priced at £10 from £20 - though went through the till at £7.50!
    Not available on their website - but found on Amazon HERE for spec info.
    They are on the fixture with the other rechargable toothbrushes.

    ACM gave 2 vouchers, one for 75 points off £10 spend, and the other 100 points off a £10 spend. We got a few other bits and bobs to take it over £10 and till accepted both vouchers - though they clearly state only 1 total spend voucher per transaction!

    Next, Shirley high street store, clearance section just by the entrance and bought 2 Boots Repel Extra Strength Insect Repellent Lotion Was £5.99, Now £2.99 though went through buy 1 get 1 half price! Thus was charged £4.48 for 2 - cheaper than buying 1 at original price. - plenty left on the shelf.
    Also got Boots Bite and Sting Relief Antihistamine Cream reduced from £3.29 to just £0.82! And we go on holiday in under 2 weeks so ideal.

    The above are store specific reductions, but know there are others from the Southampton area on this forum, hence the post for their benefit.
  • oooh thanks saintscouple, might be worth a trip to shirley then! may come in handy for the holiday! mind you dont think Im going out just yet the heavens have just opened here!
    finally debt free and want to keep it that way!!
