exactly!:D i used to work in M&S. some ladies come in every other day during christmas and they were really nice. so i do go all out to help them, say if they need a particular size and cant find it on floor, etc etc. i'll go to the store to look it up and stuff.

But if they are less than polite, i'll tell them what i have been taught to say: "all that we have is on the shop floor".

I went into my local city centre store yesterday and they now have self service tills. At they are new there were loads of managers around etc but I did notice it would allow you to use coupons. This could be good for glitches! Does anyone else have self service tills?

Sorry, edited to say store was Cardiff Queen street - the main one.

Imagine the fun you can have trying every possible coupon/voucher combo without the embarassment of an SA shouting "You cant use that, you havent bought the right product!!!" And never mind COULD be good for glitches/GWPs....it blooming brilliant!!!

I think it was mentioned on this thread, a few weeks back, how fab it would be to have self scan Bootsing....... the Gods must have been looking down on us :rotfl:

Does anyone know where the clearance section has moved to in Crawley boots...? its just that I have not actually been into boots in about a month or so and its gone gggrrrrrr!!

Hiya everyone- i'm totally behind with all the boots bargains. I made the mistake of venturing over to the Tesco threads to see what all the fuss is about and got sucked in BIG style.
Time to give my head a wobble- i sorted out my boots coupons today, i haven't bothered with them for weeks. I had 2 new sheets of assorted coupons in the post and they prompted me to spy out any potential coupon combining. I came across 2 expired free product coupons - something from expert range and something from 'soap & glory' i think???? Sooooo angry with myself!!!

That's so weird! I work in the massive Belfast city centre branch and the 1 per person ended at the start of the week!

omg u work in boots?!? does that mean u have insider info on all of the coupons/glitches and which ones work and which dont..?!! do u guys find out in advance what the next promotions are!??? wicked!!!!

As I went past the chesterfield boots tonight the shopfitters were there installing the new beauty counter. I did also notice they were moving tills. Will go and investigate tomorrow. I hope we have a self service tills!!!!
