For any Bootsers who need a laugh on this lovely fri morning.

'A young couple brought their new baby home and shortly afterwards when the baby needed changing the wife suggested that her husband should try his hand at changing nappies. "I'm busy at the moment" he said "but I'll do the next one." The next time their baby needed a nappy change she asked again.
The husband looked puzzled and replied "Oh! I didn't mean the next nappy. I meant the next baby!"'

I hope they bought all their nappies from Boots lol

Yes, there's one in Meadowhall Boots. Used the body milk this morning, it's really nice, might get another in mams name - have to fill name and address on voucher!!

Rather annoyed - went to boots in Glasgow Sauchiehall St yesterday to get the Jemma Kidd nail files, but the points didn't go through, so I pointed it out to the SA, and the one beside her said "er well you're only spending £4 so you can't expect £5 back in points, it's only on the cosmetics". *rage* Although, I ordered some the other day from .com, and I called to complain that they hadn't arrived by when they were supposed to, so they're refunding my postage, woo.

If theres one thing I hate more than Jobsworth SA's, its jobsworth SA's who are serving the customer next to you! BUTT OUT and serve your own customer!! :mad: :rotfl:

morning fellow bootsers!

haven't been bootsing in a long long time (was told to stop buying things until I started using up some of the stuff we already had...)

I was wondering if someone could give me a quick run-down of what's on offer at the moment? The first post seems to be a little out-of-date and there are a million other posts I'd have to go through!

I've picked up on the memory cards and ACM voucher for 500 points, but other than that I'm lost!

Any help would be much appreciated, I'm going to head down to Boots this afternoon and have a right good rummage!

That's strange - I got them from Sauchiehall Street yesterday too and the points went on no bother - was it the big one opposite Primark in the precinct or the smaller Charing Cross branch you went too?

I got mine from the larger one in the precinct and noticed there were no signs anywhere about the points so wasn't sure if it would work or not but it did - twice.

I took two and paid for them with a couple of reduced frames downstairs and then remembered my niece is always doing her nails so bought another couple for her and paid for them upstairs - 500 points both times.


In fact I was a little miffed/surpised when I bought the frames. They were reduced to £4 each from £14, but BOGOF so expected to pay £4 for the two but including the two nailfiles the total came to £7.60 (instead of £8.00). When I checked my receipt it said "60 or over discount - 10%" off the frames = £3.60!! I'm only 39!!! I didn't think I looked that old.

Im in the same boat as you mich so cant help very much but i believe if you buy 2 Jemma Kidd nail files for a total of 4 pound you get 500 points, also mens toiletries are on offer 3 4 2 - get acm voucher for 100 points and look in the clearance section too so your getting them for pennies.

Not sure of anything else im still looking through the posts to find out as ive not been bootsing for ages too . hth
