Thanks to everyone for sharing your thoughts on the way I was treated by the staff at the notting hill store. I could call CS, but I won't. Mostly because I have contacted them before when I was spoken to like s*** by a SA at another store - CS gave me points. I don't want to be known as a customer who always complains and especially as I do very well out of as many glitches as I possibly can. I don't really want them taking a close look at what I am buying...and getting for nought!

Am hoping to do a BIG shop on sunday in Leeds, the huge boots in the albion centre. Does anyone know where the clearance section is there? Please fellow yorkshirepeople???

Also just wanted to say how glad i am to have found this thread - my boyfriend aways thought i was obsessed with boots, and now i can prove that there's a reason for it!!!

not been 4 a while but last time it was upstairs where the baby things are iin the left hand corner if you come out of the lift the other place i ahve seen then is upstairs near the tills a long section where they had b day cards n checkout the shelves near the tills they have things on there sometimes

tha larger store occasionally has a clearance section on the first floor - near the opticions. The smaller store in bond street has a clearance section just to the side of the N7 counter - up a couple of steps on the right. I saw some Roc stuff reduced the other day, but no Roc bags, so left it.

Is the RoC GWP for the masks then?

Absolutely NO GWP at all ever anywhere near here.............but I did manage a rather nifty 342 today on the RoC Masks (Pk 5) reduced to £3.74, and on 342. Much nicer than the oh so expensive olay ones, and a bargain at that. :T

Still, would have been nice to get the GWP too.........


P.S. No reduced memory cards either :mad:

How do the over 60s get 10% off do they just ask at till or do they have to have a card.

I've just spent the best part of my day off (again!) from work in Boots. I really must get a life!

Not much in clearance section, apart from tons of FCUK. However, I found some mini foot sprays @49p buy 1 get 1 1/2price, so got 2. Also found a Botanics face mask cloth reduced to 34P. Will use this with my freebie N7 masks I got with the 5.00 N7 vouchers. Oh, I do miss those N7 vouchers - the double ones with 3.00 hair voucher. They were the best!
got another Bj nail polish and redeemed 2.00 voucher. As i was passing the Roc counter I looked up and saw loads more Roc GWP - 1 fell into my basket along with a pk of wipes. (nearly didn't get it though 'cos SA said she thought I had to spend more. I told her I'd got one before with wipes so she let me have it, after asking the SA on the till opposite who said she didn't know how much I had to spend. The other SA is a real jobsworth so I was damn lucky, phew!). Bought the Botanics unwind pulse thingy and used AC 1/3 off voucher and instore voucher for 1/2 price, so paid 79p. Going back for more of this!

Tried to redeem points on cosmo mag, but till wouldn't allow it. I'm sure I've used points on mags before...I could be wrong though. My memory is poor!
dashed across to WHS and used my points (smiths points) to buy the mag. Then dashed across to Debenhams to collect my freebie cream. Then dashed back to car. One of these days I'm gonna get a parking ticket!!
