Well after waiting weeks and making a lot of calls about the free treatment I eventually went yesterday! I had a manicure and it was absolute rubbish! I was booked in to a "beauty" salon called Heera in Edinburgh - never again. She done a French manicure which was all lumpy and about 1/3 came off in the first few hours  The polish was cheap and applied far too thick and did not dry. By the end of the night I removed it. What a waste of an hour!!!! My nails are now all funny shapes as she has not filed them properly. The salon (table in a hairdressers) was really grotty and freezing. I have e-mailed Boots to complain as I really do not think they should be running a joint venture with such an unprofesional beauty salon.

If you are based in Edin do not go there. I know it sounds really ungrateful when it was free - but it was not worth it and I will now have to wait weeks for my nails to grow back.

    Hi C00kie

    Any boots bargains this week?

Had a bit of a boots shop yesterday, £18 spend and 800+ points! True, 500 of those were nail files, but still :D there's a list a few pages back somewhere. Am still on a hunt for reduced memory cards in London... think I'll try Hammersmith tomorrow as I've got something to return. :T

Link to Jemma Kidd nail file online here - they're in a clear plastic ziplock style bag, either by the Jemma Kidd products (standing upright slotted into little grooves in the shelf) or by the manicure stuff. stripey pink & white *squints at pic* my memory is failing.... :rotfl:

For those of you selling P&P on ebay, try listing it on the .com site. I've sold several to people in the US for about £22 each. Doing them on auction here seems a bit hit and miss.

To those of you botting your excess stuff......what kind of prices do you get for them and has anyone actually sold a P%P at a carboot...and for how much?

Badly need to go booting - so much stuff to shift! :D

And I'm VERY jealous of those of you bagging the ROC GWP - have never seen a single one!!! Sob.

I did list some p+p serum on.com too. The auctions are still on. Hopefully I will get at least £22 (including postage) for each. Recently, my p+p serum sold on ebay.co.uk around £16-£22 (including postage). The profit of selling this stuff is nearly ended now, I think.

Theres this male sa in one of the boots i go to who gets abit flustered when serving me but he patiently scans every voucher and coupon that i ever hand over.I decided to treat myself to some perfume with points and while i was waiting for the female sa to come over to serve me guess who turns up?
Well we had a nice little chat about boots and then the lady was coming over to serve me so he had to rush off to do whatever he as supposed to be doing but he did say come to my till when you have decided what your having! On this occasion i thought i would pass the offer as my dh was waiting in the t-mobile shop opposite but ?

Anyway got myself a £6.99 memory card thingie and some more jemma kidd nail files some face wash and some bourjois nail polish with voucher+ few other bits- paid £20ish and got back 1380points so very pleased because used those to get paris hilton just me which is reduced.
    Love can tame the wildest
