Well, I'm going to hell then! lol I became boots-pregnant last night, and I can guarantee I haven't had any "action" in yonks! Just call me Mary.....:A

    I know where you're coming from....believe me!:o
:hello:  It's official I'm addicted to Boots - the total on my Advantage Card has gone over £300  :hello:

Just got the 'slapper red today too!! That brush does seem odd at first, but it goes on really well - I'll be back for more when pigsback voucher gets here!!

I'm new to Bootsing, but think it is really my second home as my dad was chemist & I was brought up living 'over the shop' & DH calls my cupboard 'boots branch'!
Today was my first try at MSE bootsing & didn't spend a penny of my own money!!

Bought 342 shampoos & conditioner & bogof 1/2 price FCUK with points - then JK nail files (thanks for that folks) the BJ nail polish & mabelline mascara with free eyeliner with voucher (courtesy of pigsback) & some luncheon vouchers.
Spent no real money (16.50 in vouchers incl colour cosmetics voucher) & used approx 500 points (when I've added on the new ones) & received another £2 off voucher and picked up a copy of the magazine!

Their must not be many experienced bootsers who use the Newcastle Eldon Square branch 'cos this SA was really impressed with my totals & very nice with it.

I know some of you folks could probably do better, but I was please with my first attempt!!
Have decided to put my 'one frees' aside to give to DDIL for christmas - I know a lot of of you do this already - again thanks for the idea!

VERY VERY IMPRESSIVE FIRST GO......WELL DONE:beer: you know you'll going back for more!!!!:rotfl: :rotfl:

Had quite a good shop today after work.

I finally managed to use 2 of my £2 off Bourjois/Maybeline vouchers on some reduced Bourjois mobile lip gloss at £1.50 = free.

I found another voucher instore so actually got 3. As I left I found a voucher on the ground, wet with rain but I didn't care. Apologised to SA but left a happy bunny. :T

I used my points to buy a pack of 2 pairs of suit socks reduced to 75p (RRP £5) and a reduced material broach for 50p (RRP £6). I actually already have the broach but at such a cheap price I couldn't resist buying it.

When I got home I eventually found the £2 off Bourjois/Maybeline voucher I knew I had. Oh well back to Boots tomorrow. :j
    Tesco points: 101 (£21.50, £19.50, £7.50, £21 & £5)
    Boots points: £0.28
    Pigsback points: 715 (4 xBoots£10 & 1 xPizzaHut£10, 2 x £10 clothing vouchers)
    Mutual points: 3417 (redeemed 8250)
    Rpoints:redeemed 28925 points)Cashbag:£8.91(£20)

Do you think if we searched through the bins outside all our Boots stores, we'd find many vouchers? I bet there'd be hundreds! Or would that be going too far? :o :rotfl:

    I lost the plot today:(

No memory 500 points or 100 shave points on the machine - but then the only reduced memory cards were £12.49 anyway.

So I guess that threw me straight away coz I completely forgot to look for the nail files

Had a 50 points off £7.50 spend so got

    1 Second Bourjois £5.50
    Trainer tamers £2.24
    Glass rings thingies .75p
    TOTAL £8.49

So handed 50 points voucher over 1st
    then £2 off

    Paid £6.49

Got the 150 for the nail varnish ok
-BUT only 12 normal points and NO 50 bonus points even though it was scanned before the £2 off :(

    Ho hum

Your mum will need to have her own Boots card. She can sign up for the health club online at the same time as signing up for the card (if she does that online), or she can sign up on the advantage card machine, or fill in a form and send it off.

Thanks, okay, she has her own card, so she needs to join the health club, does she get something then to show at the till.

:T :T Bring it on! I know exactly what you mean. Isn't it exciting going to unexplored Boots stores?

I'm going away for the weekend and the first piece of research I've done is checking out where all the Boots are! It's a good job my DH has come to understand my Bootsing!

    Hi,
I would thanks u for that post (for sharing my dizzy excitement!) but the 'Thanks' button has disappeared!
I think we all need a psychiatrist or something. Can u imagine- laying down on the shrink's couch and explaining our addiction! - makes me laugh just thinking about it :rotfl: !

I MUST also tell you about my haul today!-

Got loaaaads of FCUK ladies stuff, reduced and BOGOF including 2 pink little boxes for £1.25 for both!
Also managed to get 3 RoC gift sets!
Couldn't gather the courage to get them without a RoC purchase so got 2 wipes and 1 face wash and used 3 RoC vouchers. (I used the £3 Olay voucher too with the RoC face wash! But to top it all- the SA put the Olay voucher back in my shopping bag!:T :j )
Also got 3 Clinique items to ge the 1200 points. But tried to use the parenting voucher for 750 points and it wouldn't work. The Clinique lady made something up about buying 2 skincare items from 2 DIFFERENT brands mentioned on the voucher ??!! I didn't want to enter into a discussion with her (my little one was getting impatient after I had spent so much time in Boots already!!) so just left it at that.

    So quite pleased with everything!:D

Yes, the acm will do a print out at the end of the session (when she gets her card out of it). She will then need to take the form to one of the tills. I think they just scan her card and scan a different card (in my local Boots it was an A4 sheet covered in plastic). Make sure they scan the one that says for over 60s!
