if u have any spare diaper, wipes, or avent vouchers, i will try and ask my housemate if his sis wants them. (his sis is the one thats pregnant, and she signed him up for the parenting club for extra coupons) she's due anytime soon, so the vouchers might come in handy.

i am contemplating whether or not to have a boots prenancy. i am taking OC at the moment, and have been buying some 'protection stuff':o with my boots card and points. you think boots will notice it?

im too supersticious to do it, but they wont notice...you bought the 'protection stuff' for your brother's neighbour's cat's auntie's half-uncle if they ask!!!

hasnt everyone got a 'brother's neighbour's cat's auntie's half-uncle' who is too shy to buy their own contraception??:confused::D

  • Can anyone tell me why after having a card sice january and earning £40 I have never had anything from the machine which offers extra points. I only ever get competitions. I was with my cousin recently, who only had 20p earnt and from the same machine she got about 5 different additional points and other offers.

i had to leave the office today to go to a meeting and had a hard job explaining why i was 15 minutes late for the meeting.........
BOOTS........a new Boots that I HAD NEVER BEEN TO!!!!!!!oh the joy!, the ever so sweet ecstacy of seeing a Boots i'd never been in, and.......I had my advantage card with me! I just knew the Gods were smiling at me.........so in i toddled, found an ACM that was working.....finally had the same vouchers as you lot!!!! had a wander round til i found not 1, not 2 but three lots of end of aisle shelves with reduced stuff. i did manage to keep my self fairly restrained and didn't clear the shelves before heading for the tills, via the jemma kidd make up bit for a couple of nail files. So ended up with:

3 no 32MB camera memory cards for £1.74 each and 500 points for each card from ACM = £5.22 and 1520 points
3 No reduced Botanics men range on 342 for £1.00 each and 100 points if you buy 3 items of men's skincare from ACM = £2.00 and 108 points
2 Jemma Kidd nails files for £2.00 each and 500 extra points (no signs anywhere instore for this) = £4.00 and 516 points

Total: £11.22 spent and £21.42 in points they have just paid me £10.20 to take 8 items from their store.

GOD I LOVE BOOTS.........AND OF COURSE YOU LOT WITHOUT WHOM I WOULD BE TOTALLY UNAWARE OF ALL OF THESE BARGAINS.:smileyhea :smileyhea :iloveyou: :grouphug: :smileyhea:smileyhea

For those in Leeds it was the Colton ? retail park on the A63 going into Halton on the roundabout with sainsburys where they're doing all the roadworks and it doesn't look like there's a regular Bootster been in there for a long time.

completeboxset - the excitement and happiness in that post is overwhelming...I bet you got an A* in your GCSEs for emphatic writing! (only if the subject was boots eh??!!!)

GREAT HAUL! DYING to try the memory card trick!

My mum (funkyfarmgirl) has the same problem - Boots have given her about £40 in apology points so far and not bothered to fix the problem! She uses grans and when i'm up in wales, mine. But when they sent her a new card, they left the points on the old card - so that was £23 in compensation!

Did you manage to get a Roc GWP from Meadowhall?

  • Glasgow Fort has loads of Jemma Kidd emery boards, roc gift sets and p&p. Also loads of fcuk clearance and bogof, and photo albums. Spent loads, got loads of points but no £2 bourjois/ maybelline vouchers. Not had a voucher in my last 4 spends (all over £20). Can't complain, feel good about my purchases.
