Hi again! Just back home, so I thought I'd check what is in the Clinique GWP I got yesterday . There is: 40 ml deep Comfort body butter, 50 ml Rinse off foaming cleanser, 50 ml take the day off make up remover, 30 ml Moisture surge extra thirsty skin relief and 30 ml 7 day scrub cream. Plus the wash bag.
You get that if you buy 2 skin care products.

If you add the 1200 points for 3 products bought, it wasn't too bad bootsing! :j

Went tonight to see if they had the Jemma Kidd nail files, and they did! I got 2 and got 500 points. :D

And another one is hooked! there's no turning back you know, once you start you can't stop and before long your points balance will be over £100 and then it's just going to get worse.........It's fantastic fun though!
:hello:  It's official I'm addicted to Boots - the total on my Advantage Card has gone over £300  :hello:

hi - is the clinique GWP available in all Boots with Clinique counters?

I just looked on the Clinique website and it seems it's only selected stores at selected times :(

Please someone tell me I'm wrong - was gonna partake of the offer tomorrow with my 750 parent voucher..............

Oxford city centre store had some free Roc 'CompleteLift' samples today - they are inside cards (with a picture of a woman on the front) on the top shelf near the GWPs.

I also got a GWP and some Roc cleansing wash (£1.95 with the GWP £5 voucher) and a couple of Olay face washes (1 £1.49 with olay voucher, one free on 342).

Upstairs they had some 512mb SD cards + mp3 player reduced to £9.99 (from £19.99) which went through with the 500pts ACM voucher.

Plus I used a 75pts for £10 spend ACM voucher, so in all I spent £13.43, saved £22.49, and got back 619 points, some freebies and another voucher! Woot!
    :)

sally06 - I had a similar experience when a board was left up after the Sanctuary orange washbag promotion had finished. SA wouldn't let me have the bag on offer, left the till, ripped the sign from behind the shelf and was huffing and puffing as she did so. Once I got home I called CS and they were ever so nice about it and said she would be spoken to :o . They ended up putting some extra points on my card to make up for it. So, let Boots know, you'll feel better for it :D .

Ok, I now have [STRIKE]8[/STRIKE] extra metro coupons for a free Revlon lippie when buying another purchase. If you would like one please pm me. I looked like such a fool when I realised that there were some copies left and cheered quite loudly!!!
    Sorry, none left now...

as a manager in retail i am aware of trading standards law and this manager has broken it, with a sign up saying the mascara`s are half price this applies to all of them so to refuse to sell them is not allowed as they are all in effect half price, had they been ticketed individually and just one was ticketed at 2.99 and the rest ticketed at 5.99 they could have refused to sell the one to you which said 2.99 as it could have been a customer price swap or something, however even in this case where they have refused to sell it they have to remove all of the products from the shelf and not put them out again for 24 hours, your 2.99 should have been honoured and again the products removed from the shelf for 24 hours beofre being put back to 5.99 as another customer may come back and say i came to buy this mascara and it said 2.99 this morning now it says 5.99, on the same day they should honour the price too.

i've not heard of this trading standard 'law' but as a general rule, shops have the right not to sell it to you at the display price. this is because the display price is actually an 'Invitation to Treat' rather than an offer for sale. when you take the item to the till, you are offering to buy the item, and the shop can choose whether or not to accept this offer.

under the general law of contract, the manager is not in the wrong for not wante to sell it at the lower price. frustrating, i know. Good stores do actually sell it to you at the displayed price, not because they have to, but out of goodwill....having said that, boots service is crap anyway..so dont really expect them to...

lmbo. Not pregnant anymore but have a 12 week old. Just think what a shame it is all those vouchers going to waste when theres some of us on here that could put them to great use.

if u have any spare diaper, wipes, or avent vouchers, i will try and ask my housemate if his sis wants them. (his sis is the one thats pregnant, and she signed him up for the parenting club for extra coupons) she's due anytime soon, so the vouchers might come in handy.

i am contemplating whether or not to have a boots prenancy. i am taking OC at the moment, and have been buying some 'protection stuff':o with my boots card and points. you think boots will notice it?
