Do you get extra points if you buy the Maybelline Unstoppable mascara in store? I couldn't see any signs and I want to use my £2 cosmetic voucher. Thanks. :o

i think it's just the normal amount of points instore - but they have started putting notices on the front of some of the makeup to get extra points with certain items - but it's a case of looking really hard in my store
:hello:  It's official I'm addicted to Boots - the total on my Advantage Card has gone over £300  :hello:

I have to stop myself from buying these online things that give points....I just spend too much, have too much in the cupboard and what's the point in that there's always a new glitch that comes along.

New rule - buy what I need or need as presents and then stop.

But you know full well we all NEED.......30 bottles of mouthwash, 20 packets of poo tablets......10 mascaras, and 30 biggie pencil sharpeners!:rotfl:

I went into Boots to buy a Boujois nail polish with my £2 voucher and £2 parenting voucher plus 150 offer points and was just browsing the mens aisle when a clearence section caught my eye. I found 6 mens Veet wax strips for £1.49 each box (20 per box) down from £5.99 Much cheaper than the ladies which was full price :j

I need to stop Bootsing now this was my 4th Boots shop today :o 2 on .com and 2 in store :rotfl:

Only spent 99p on each transaction, as i bought the wipes & had a £5 voucher off each time from the previous box :j
Also another 2 packs of diareeze for free

Thought i'd treat myself to a digital camera in Boots at the weekend & got triple points. But now really annoyed that i didn't buy it with my points!
But i got an extra £12 in points by buying it. So do i take it back & get refund & use my points (also loosing the triple points! )
    Decisions, decisions.

That's disgusting that someone was so brave to spend your points minutes after you left it in the machine. What if the SA's were looking out for your missing AC iyswim

I'm glad that you got your points back though!

well, my hubby forgot his card with just under £8 on at the till on a Saturday. (the girl at the till actually had it in her hand, he just forgot to get it, as he had a "fight" with her, and just left ) He phone Boots on Monday to tell them, and there were actually only 32p left on his card !!! The girl had used the card on Saturday only short time after he had left.....But Boots did give him all his points back !!!!
    Kir ;o) ;)

i just forgot to moan that good old Val nabbed 52p's worth off points back off my card just cos I took something back (and it was a genuine mistake)....I complained all the way home that much that my mum said she'd give me the 52p back if i'd only stop moaning (i shut up then!!)

Also managed to tackle the no.7 dragon, she wasn't having ANY of me (I've recently been told by several people I look between 14 and 17...I'm 23) cos she thought I wasn't going to purchase anything...so I made her get all her little books out and tell me what was going to be best to even my skin tone out etc. she was so condescending and patronising...I think she was gobsmacked when I said "I'd like a sample of the product before I buy it, I usually don't go for cheap stuff like No.7, so I'd hate to think it would bring me out in a rash" ..... gobsmacked she tootled over and ive come home with a very generous sized sample of a moisturiser!!

Note to No.7 dragon... I buy Johnsons Clean and Clear at £2.19 a throw and buy Avon moisturiser on BOGOF for about £4..... tee hee!!!

:ABeing Thrifty Gifty again this year:A
