Went into Boot tonight first time in a month and tried to get the new spring no 7 eye duo but it would not take my parenting voucher off it. SA Had to call manager over who had to override it after a lot of messing about.

    Anyone else had any trouble?

He also mentioned they had had some forged ones about.

well, my hubby forgot his card with just under £8 on at the till on a Saturday. (the girl at the till actually had it in her hand, he just forgot to get it, as he had a "fight" with her, and just left ) He phone Boots on Monday to tell them, and there were actually only 32p left on his card !!! The girl had used the card on Saturday only short time after he had left.....But Boots did give him all his points back !!!!

   Did I read that right? The SA did it??

    Hello all
I have a quick question, I dont really fully understand the points system with the boots advantage card, but i was wondering do you get points for everything you buy? The reason for asking is I have to buy baby milk and i figured that if i bought from boots i would get points, but I have just tried to find out with boots online and it said 0 points to collect on 2 tubs of sma?

any help will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks
    Sylvia

you can't get points or promotions on any baby milk (or food) aimed at babies under 6 months. Not just in boot - in all shops. This is to encourage breastfeeding (or rather not to promote the alternatives)

however, once your little one turns 6 months, switch them onto SMA progress and get points.

Thanks for letting me know, it saves a weekly trip to boots, which was more of a hinderence really just for milk and nappies etc...
I can get with my normal weekly shop.
    Thanks again
