Was in the mood to spend money but couldn't be bothered to move off the sofa yesterday so did the following on line:

Benefit Biggie Sharpener 2 for £5.00 with 500 extra points
Maybelline Unstoppable Mascara 11 for £32.89 with 2200 extra points (were reduced from £5.99 each to £2.99 each and you can never have enough mascara)
17 Lasting Glow Wear Off Self Tan wipe 1 for £1.99 with a free shimmer brush (worth £2.99)
Boots Ibuprofen Liquid Capsules 16s 200 1 for £0.99 with a free WellPatch Deep Freeze Cold Patch (capsules usually £1.99 but half price at moment)
    500 extra points for a £40 spend

    Total shop cost £40.87

479 earned points and 3200 extra points = 3679 points

40.87 minus 36.79 = £4.08 plus went through Pigsback so that will be another £2 back so effectively I got 2 sharpners, 11 mascaras, a self tan wipe, a shimmer brush, a packet of Ibuprofen and a deep freeze cold patch for £2.08!

    thank you Boots.

Wow that's an amazing amount of points well done :T

I decided to get Olay products -(but the sa didn't really look at the vouchers and just scanned them through.....I'm sure these will work against ANY item bought as the receipt just says 'Brand coupon' - 3.00)

    **Transaction 1 :-
    I got 3 reduced priced
olay daily cleansers (deep pore cream cleanser) (£1.60 each but on 342 - so total was £3.20) used £3 off , paid 20p and got 12 points back!!

    **Transaction 2
1 olay daily cleansers (deep pore cream cleanser) reduced to £1.60
2 olay daily cleansers (gentle cleansing milk) reduced to 1.48

I did a last .com shop while the triple points event is still on I bought some perfume Paul Smith's Extreme lovely fragrance for summer plus a hot water bottle they don't seem to have any in store this time of year. I wanted the extra points for the Benefit sharpeners but none left

    Paul Smith's Extreme perfume £37

    Hot water bottle £6.99

    total £43.99

triple points 527 plus extra points 500 total 1027 :T

hi whats the best way to use the £2.00 voucher anyone plz?
  • The problem is with all this online and instore shopping is that whilst i am happily accumulating all these points (and a rather a lot of Boots stock) I can't actually bring myself to spend the points when I'm instore! i suppose i should just happily let them accumlate for that rainy day when my credit card has reached it's limit and i really need something - of course that may not be until i'm of pensionable age but i suppose i should look at it as a non interest savings account!

    Hello,

I have some Time Delay skincare products that I would like to exchange without a receipt. The products don't agree with my skin, and I would like to exchange the items that I have not used.

Is the policy the same, is it still ok to return skincare products at Boots?

I am returning from a 6-month break from the Boots board, my bootsing was getting out of hand!

Thanks for all of your help.

Some people in this board have said that for returns, it is better to phone CS ahead and get a reference number for the return. This was told to them by CS on previous occasions.

I reported some time ago a terrible experience I had with returning some items without receipt: I was impatient and did not show the security guard the items, the shop was extremely busy and I was made to go from till to till because noone was allowed to change the products and in the mean time in one of the tills my products were magnetized again, by accident (I only realized this later when I saw a lot of people leaving the store beeping after having paid at one of the tills I first inquired in, and placed the products on). When after a lot of time looking up and down the stairs I couldn't find the team manager I decided to go to another Boots store and do the exhange there... My products beeped at the exit, I had no receipt and spent the most embarassing moment of my life there.

So either phone CS ahead or show the products to the security guard and wait for him to guide you.

You can only use it once, I have tried in the past to reuse codes but failed
