We are a bit short if cash at the moment and after reading this thread and the tesco thread am thinking of getting what I can with what little vouchers I have and doing a car boot. I already have a small box of about 35 items but obviously need a lot more. Can anyone recommend any products I could get without spending much cash that will sell well. If anyone has done a carboot would you mind pm'ing me and letting me know what sort of prices you charged and what sold well? Do you think the poo tablets would sell?!!!
I did this a few times last Summer, Chickenpants. Having accumulated vast quantities of product from glitches, BOGOF's, points etc., I put aside what I thought I'd personally need for the next 12 months, plus some of the nicer products to make up Birthday & Xmas gift hampers for friends & family, & then car booted the rest. I live in a tourist area, near a lot of camp sites etc. & as well as all the sun-tan products, the basics such as soaps, talcs, shampoo/conditioner, deodrants, body sprays, toothpaste (not to mention toothbrushes - you'd be amazed at how many people forget to pack them!) etc. all went really well. Also, the facial wipes (No 7, Botanics, Time Delay), & baby wipes & tissues. I priced them, on average, at about 1/2 price & they went like hot cakes. Infact some of the essentials I only reduced by about 25% & they still went well - people were just pleased to find products they needed (forgotten to pack or run out of). I did find some of the medication - tablets etc. hard to sell - think people are understandably a little worried about the safety aspect. Insect bite cream & mos spray went well though. All Boots own brand baby products (which I'd bought on BOGOF & used points for) went really quickly. I shall do a couple again this Summer. As you say a good way of raising some cash.
    Lots of luck with it

Huddersfield store had LOADS of the magazines, in case anyone nearby wants any.

I have just checked online & have almost got back upto £100 on AC once pending points added so think I might treat myself to something nice.

Was looking at getting my Dad some of his Aramis for Father's Day, is there any offers on this atm? It has to be Aramis not Aramis Life (or any others that may be around) Otherwise anyone know where to get some cheapish?

Bought a reduced mens nivea bag for 4.99 and a nail varnish from bourjous with 150 points using £2 parenting and £2 voucher making it free iykwim. Got outside and back to car and realised dd2 had shoplifted a fcuk soap (shes 14 months) she must have grabbed and put it in the bottom of her pushchair.

Just a quick one for those of you with too much Mouthwash I read a tip in one of my magazines that says put a small amount on your cloth as you clean the mouthpiece of the phone, it kills the bacteria and smells nice too. HTH
