my back wheel on driver side little bit lower or gone inside slightly, when u look at car behind u feel its not stright lil bit,of car compared to other one,is this safe?and ok with police?i had excel changed few weeks ago and took car to few garages some said its ok some said need tracking,im confused , i have looked at other Peugeout 206 cars 2002 they look smiler to mine ,some of em,but not sure if its legal?

Could be rear axle starting to go - does the wheel sit 'straight' or out a bit at the bottom?

but most likely just wear on the torsion suspension, meaning it sits a little bit lower on one side

Are you sure that the axle you have fitted is not from a car thats had a bang?

    It's 'you' not 'u'

it looks like they have fitted another broken axle. Its a common problem on 206's

If your tyre is worn down below the legal limit due to the dodgy axle it will be you the driver who gets the ticket. It is the drivers duty to ensure the car is roadworthy before driving it.

So take it to another garage and ask them if it's OK, and if it's not get them to give you something in writing so you can go back to the first garage.

The police wont stop you for this. As long as it passes its MOT then it will be ok.

Was it a refurbished axle or just one off a scrap car?
