Evening all! I'm in as usual - thank you Dusty :A
Four more days at work and then I am on a major decluttering mission to get this place on the market by the end of April. I have a mortgage appointment on the 2nd so can then start looking at houses :D Now I've written it down, I'm hoping you lot can keep me on track as I need kicking!

Oh, and I'm planning a day in London in the week after Easter - anyone fancy meeting up?

    Monday - Kitchen

    Level Two
    Clear and wipe the sufaces
Polish any granite, stainless steel etc
    Hoover the floor

    Level Three
    Wipe out the food cupboards

    DD is home :):):)

The bus got back around 9:30 and DD was very grumpy and didn't want to talk about the trip which upset me as I was looking forward to seeing her and hearing what she had been up to..........this then upset her and I know she was only grumpy because she was so tired. WE had a cuddle , made up and she went to bed and was asleep in less than half an hour!!

WM and TD have both been on and I want to put another load on before I go to bed.

Clothes everywhere for packing tomorrow when DSD brings the suitcase back. They are in neat piles so it doesn't look too bad.

Hoping the snow clears for those who don't want it and journeys can be made xx

    Catch up tomorrow xx

Pigpen, you have obviously made the most of your weekend at home. I had to laugh at Dot and Squeak's capers with the plaster :rotfl:

We bathed the terracotta warriors.. got them dressed.. I came in the middle room to get the mugs went back to the kitchen and Dot looks like Frosty the Snowman as Squeak had tipped a 2kg bag of caster sugar over her head and was scrabbling about licking her hands and licking the sugar off them.. She then tipped the remainder of 3 scoops of neapolitan ice cream and red berries over her head...

I seriously have no idea what has gotten into the 2 of them today!!!
Some days bedtime doesn't come soon enough.. anyway she has spent 3 hours asleep and has been up for the last hour... currently playing with a pair of knickers.

Squeak went to sleep like an angel in the big room.. there is just her in there tonight but she is asleep.. the corner with the cot is beautiful and tidy and the rest of the room is devastation itself with the detritus from 3 rooms piled up

I got a bit more sorted in the kitchen but after I incinerated a pan of mixed veg I didn't have time to do any more.

Tomorrow OH has the bunks to finish erecting.. the boys can help. I then get to make DD2 a bed and finish the stripping ready for wallpaper on Tuesday when DD1 is here to watch the monsters. Wednesday and Thursday we will fill the room for DD2 and she has 5 binbags of stuff from her floor to sort what she wants to keep and what we can fling.THEN.. I get to sort the beds for DD3 and 4 and get their cupboards in the small room and when they get home we are going through their clothes as I am certain 50% of what is cluttering up their cupboards is too small.

I believe we have a plan for the week.. all the beds and stuff have to be sorted for the girls getting home on Saturday.. on top of this I need to deplaster the bathroom, empty the kitchen and command DD2 to clean out the baking cupboard and put the cereal in it so I can reshuffle the stuff in the larder unit and get the bags of sugar out of miss monster reach.. DD2 will LOVE me. The boys can change their bedding, clean out the bunny and help OH with the bunks and their room is also a sty.. but that might be getting done after I've got the bathroom sorted.

I was just coming on to say I would be all organised and be in again this week, but I have just gone into the kitchen and realised I have forgotten the potatoes and carrots I put on ready for tomorrow's meat and potato pie:(.
Now got to see if I can salvage the pan. Sometimes there is just so much to do it feels like my head is mashed.

Sit it next to mine... if you soak it in bio wash powder it will come up ok.. takes a few days soaking if you've done a good job!

Oh it is a good job alright and its freezing her and got all the blooming windows open to get rid of the smell. It was a perfectly good pan too, part of a wedding present and I have only been married 26 years this year!
