Did I tell you about the time I wrestled with someone over a whole salmon at the reduced to clear section in Tesc0?
(I had to explain to some fella that "I probably wrote my list before you" is not an adequate reason to snatch something out of someone's hand).
*I eventually got to keep the salmon - and it was delicious.
Love it. I have a memory of my mum telling me she got into a physical fight over a reduced top for me in Marks & Spencer. (Years rather than days ago I hasten to add.)0 -

I didn't post last night - no photo either - as I served up dinner - I knocked most of the gravy over the kitchen counter.
We had HM TITH with roast potatoes/roast parsnip + cauliflower + swede + onion + what was left of the gravy.
I went shopping yesterday - had a gift card to use so filled my shopping trolley - plus I got a 5kg bag of onions in Li.. for £1.99 We love onions.
I go to the shops by bus - no car - my shopping trolley was really heavy - lifting on and off the bus. They had 7.5kg bags of potatoes in Li.. - anyone had them?Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

I sat here eating my HM lunch, all rustled up from the cupboards and fridge and spread over two days, but the rustling up made me realise I had lots of dinners, but very little in the way of breakfast and lunch stuff. So, onto Tesco for a stock up, and I added fresh veg and a couple of household bits to bring it up to delivery level. Plus enough onions to make another batch of onion marmalade. Spend so far £35.96, but I shouldn't need to buy anything else for at least 10 days. Off to update my signature.

Honestly, it was beyond salvage. There was no flavour in the flakes whatsoever, just powdery texture that stuck to the roof of your mouth.
It would be a waste of perfectly good dried fruit and yoghurt! Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....
