Small spend in C*-*p, of milk, choc dessert for DD and one Activia snackpot on offer for me, as i have no yoghurts in until next main shop (total of £1.97).This will be whenever the female felines of the household have ran out of catfood; as they won't eat the one i get online from Zooplus. Hoping next month i can reduce spend and factor at least the SM bought cat food back in!

Not happy with myself
I went over budget by £9.55!! As i needed to top up my storecupboard and i also bought alot of YS products. My cupboards are bursting and i had to throw away some mushrooms, spinach and a cabbage that had all gone mouldy. So BIG note to myself for next months challenge as this month for me has finished, do not buy too much YS veg!!! I keep talking to myself, "you know you cant eat all that"," do you really need anymore veg". I think im going mad, with all this budgeting and sometimes i wanna really run riot in the supermarkets and buy anything and everything in sight. Is it only me that feels this way?:rotfl::rotfl:

Welsh Poppy - can I come for tea please - another one of my favourite meals and have just remembered there is a piece of belly pork in the freezer
Just had to dash up to Co -op and get 6 packs of the cheese on offer - thanks to who ever it was who mentioned it. I had a £10 voucher so no actual money changed hands apart from the cashier giving me some change which they don’t usually do with vouchers at our local store. So a NSD here.
Small spend over the weekend so have now spent a total of £94.04 out of £220 so doing ok at moment.
Tea tonight is Cheese, leek & onion tart, hopefully picture later but be warned as I am not good with pastry.MARCH £62.38/2500 -
Hi again, ive searched on the site for using a spreadsheet for groceries and cannot find any. Does anyone know of a good one to use. Ive never used one before and just write all my food spends on paper, but would like to transfer this to a spreadsheet. Thanks0

I have a spreadsheet I use for keeping track of everything. If you'd like a copy (of a blank version) I'd happily send you one if you PM me an email address. If you want it cutting down to groceries only I can easily do that for you
It currently has one page a month each for direct debits/regular bills, groceries, toiletries/cleaning (I have a different budget for those) and 'everything else' (which includes magazines, clothes, bus fares, parking charges etc.)Cheryl0 -

Afternoon All
Lovely sunny afternoon here.
Quick top up shop at Ald*, to last me over next four days (my working week). 12pts of milk, loaf of bread, Supersix sweet potatoes/plums/apples, Ultimate chipolata sausages (still best SM premium sausages IMO), small pack of sweeties each for DS and DD, Baby Bath and some Miracle Oil for my frizz prone hair (thought I'd try, £6 cheaper than L'Ore*l version) = £13.70 total.
Will update signature. Also bought new loaf cake tin £1.99, but that's not GC budget. Can now do 2 such cakes at a time as we polish off one in no time and better use of oven. Very MSE.
School pick up soon, before then could do HH tidy or could do HH carp TV session. Think the latter.

Well i had no intentions of doing another big shop yet, however went into my Gmail inbox to find a lovely £25 off a £60 shop voucher for Oc*do. Never ever used them before; so just booked delivery Weds for the cat food mentioned earlier. Even popped on my first Xmas present ( although i can see this coming out in the summer hols!) So, now probs will only need absolute min T***o shop late weekend or even next week.
Does anyone know if they are doing a £5 off £40 again this week or has it finished?GC Jan £101.91/£150 Feb £70.96/150 Mar £100.43/150 Apr £108.45 app/150 May £149.70/150 Jun £155.15/150 Jul £134.25/£150 Aug £119.37/£150 Sep £170.48?/£150 Oct £37.21/£180 (includes food, toiletries and cleaning from 13th to 12th of each month.
