The fees do bring the total up, but just think what a difference the shift to 0% will make!
One down three to go soon.
What are your plans with the £100? Treat or debt?
Soo late, I'd better go. Catch you tomorrow.
Haha hope that gas isn't too expensive now :rotfl::)
Oh you're right, a small increase but then bam, it's down againNot long till payday and the money shuffle. I'll do a little dance too
Ooh that's a hard question! I don't particularly need anything at the moment and I've had far too many treats over the years so I'm going to treat myself to £100 off my debt! Best pressie ever :T But I might keep a a little back towards my new internal doors ready for the planned lodger experiment thinking about it.Debt Apr 15 - £6895.44Apr 17 - £2500

I've got my appointment tomorrow with Nati0nwide who I'm about to leave to move over to FD, except I'm going to open a whole new account.If all goes to plan, my wages will go into FD and all my bills go out, and I'll set up a DD to transfer the rest, minus a little buffer, to Nati0nwide for spends and little saving / budget pots. I like their banking app so I'll be glad not to lose it.

Yay, for days off! Hope you had a fantastic one.
Sounds like a very organised plan for the banking switch over.0 -
Yay, it was a lovely day off thanks CCL and Belle! Any day where I'm not at work is the best day ever!!! :cool:;)
I've sorted out my new current account with Nati0nwide. The old one will be closed and I'll switch to FD on 4th Sept. I'd got a few little savings accounts attached to my current current account but they can't just be linked to my new Nati0nwide current account so I've transferred most of the money out of each to a completely separate account with another bank for safe keeping. I've closed these little accounts down so once the dust settles, I'll open a load of new savings accounts and transfer my money back. Needs a bit of planning!

Why do days off go too quick? Grrrr!
Today
* Payday!! :j
* £15 diesel, hoping this will last until the 9th when I get my new car. I doubt it will but I can hope
* £6.59 on groceries from the farm shop. Some yummy ham and some veg.
* 151SB earned
* Survey on VO
* £2.30 transferred to Nati0nwide CC
I'm going to leave the payments to the CC's to go out as planned now before I make any extra payments. There are a lot of changes and challenges over the next few weeks:
○ current account switch
○ new Ll0yds CC payment to be set up
○ reduction in line rental / broadband (save around £22)
○ energy supplier switch (save £20)
○ house insurance is due this month (paid yearly, hoping for around £100, partly budgeted for)
○ gym payment (£50 for 3 months)
○ laptop to be set up properly (probably £30)
○ car to be valeted properly prior to the handover (£45 budgeted for)
○ 2 family birthdays (budgeted for)
I can see myself getting in a pickle and I'm not even sure I'm going to manage all this without my credit card. I really need to get a grip of grocery spends and ignore the offers! I don't really waste much, but I tend to stockpile food. Apart from milk, cheese, a bit of veg, and a couple of small things, I DO NOT need anything this week. Or the week after that! Possibly the week after that too :rotfl::D
Had my scratches and dents sorted although while he was here, he noticed more dents which haven't been quoted for. It's already going to cost nearly £400 in excess so I'm absolutely gutted. Years ago, accidental damage was fixed for free but since the penny pinching began, it's now chargeable. I sometimes wonder why I bother working in the job I do. By the time I take into account the cost of diesel, professional fees, car costs and the stress of the job, I've convinced myself I'm better off out of it. Aaargghhh. This really has taken the shine off payday!
Right, no more moaning from me. I know I'm better off than a lot of people and at least I've rediscovered MSE, so I shall just get on it with it.

One step forward...........17 back.
Today
* £12.17 on groceries. Mainly chocolate and ice cream. Bit of milk. Mainly dairy then
* Receipt scanned on checkoutsm@rt for the chance to win £1000
* 98SB earned
Had some bad news about the car dents and I'm just so gutted it's going to cost even more now. I've spent most of the day in tears. It's likely to be £600 worst case scenario which luckily I can pay back through my wages. But, I'm still gutted that it's £600 that isn't going towards my debts keeping me further away from leaving the job I hate. Totally trapped under all this debt. It's days like this I just think s*d it, get a consolidation loan or add it to the mortgage. But I can't do that. Not this time. So I've chosen chocolate and ice cream and a good old wallow instead. I'm going to ask work if I can pay it back over as long as possible so it doesn't have too much of an impact. Not quite sure they'll let me take 3 years but if you don't ask, you don't get. :rotfl::o
