I did that too with YNAB in January and think it all tallies now too. But I'm stealing your method of putting "spare" purse cash into my money box.
Sorry you're still not feeling well enough and sorry you're having to go in today. Annoying.
Well done on all those practical achievements with sofa, new curtains, old sofa listings, skirting boards etc. Have they been fitted now? It makes a lot of difference, I'll bet you're proud of your house now!
Fingers crossed for you !!!
Haha it was, like a proper ping! Light bulb on :rotfl:
I'm sure that spare purse cash will build up if, it's not spent anyway. Pre-LBM I used to have a funny saving method. I'd pay cash for something, say a fiver, then while I was waiting for the change, I'd put my purse away then just fling the money loose in my bag. At the end of the month when things were tight, or if I needed car park change, I'd go fishing in the depths of my bag and ta-da, some lovely cash :T;)
Yep, the skirting boards are in and they do look good. I hung my curtains last night and they've really cosied the lounge up. Nobody wants my old sofa on Fr33gle so I need to ring a charity to see if they want it. Failing that, I'll drag it outside and put a sign on it saying free to a good homeI put a half broken chest of drawers outside once with a sign on and it had gone within the hour :T:p

Hello hello
I'm on the mend now but still not 100%. Maybe about 70% there
Monday
* £8.33 in M0rrisons on a few groceries
* £26 on fuel
* Had a bit of a shuffle around and have used my emergency fund and some of my overpayments account to pay extra to the H@lifax CC so it's gone from owing £940 to £485. I think this will be history by early June leaving just one, yes one CC! I normally pay £160 to this CC so this payment plus the £70 saved on the mortgage will get my emergency fund back to what it was by June payday. Please gawd, no emergencies though! :rotfl::p
* Pinec0ne survey
* VO survey
* Closed down Barcl@ycard, they let me this time so no lovely bribes to keep it open:D;):p
Today
* £14.19 in T3sco on a few groceries / offers
* i-S@y survey screened out but got 10 points for trying
* VO survey
* P0pulusLive survey
* £1.14 sweep into my overpayments account
* £3 sweep into my FD savings account
With my extra payments to H@lifax yesterday, my total CC debt now stands at £3505. This time last year it was £6895.44 so I am a tantalisingly close £57.28 away from 50% paid. I said back in February that I was hoping to hit it by the end of April but I wasn't sure I'd actually do it. I will do it, even if I have to "borrow" from rainy day accounts. I'm hoping that with eb@y profits, surveys and selling old CD's and DVD's, I might just generate this money. But every day is a battle not to zero down my rainy day savings / budgeting accounts to completely pay this CC off. Delayed gratification will stop me from doing it......for now

Evening peeps
Over the hump now and very nearly the weekend :T:j
My friend spotted that the Rocky Horror Show is on tour this year and she's booked tickets for 4 of us to go. I owe her £30.60 but I might tell her I'm skint and pay her after 10 days like she did with our spa trip :rotfl: But I won't, I'll pay tomorrow!I'm really looking forward to going but it's tinged with a bit of sadness. I had a ticket to go to see it 22 years ago (I know! Imagine letting a 6 year old buy a ticket
;)) but the night before I was due to go, my mum suddenly passed away so I couldn't go :A:cry: Been thinking about my mum all day, thinking how long it's been since we lost her and how much I'd love to have known her as an adult. Anyway, it'll be great to actually see it after all this time, hope it's worth the wait

Someone is collecting a Gumtr33 item tomorrow and I've got bids on 3 out of 4 eb@y items and 5 watchers on the 4th item so a little bit of money coming my way soon. The item I sold last week will have to be relisted or I might try 2nd chance offer as some stupid c*w bid on it then failed to contact me. Hope she gets a boil on her b*m!! Doesn't she know I'm only £57.28 away from 50% debt paid and I need that money :rotfl::D

One day left......I.....can........do........it.............I can, I can. I'll give it a go anyway
Today
* £30.60 transferred to my friend for the Rocky Horror ticket :j
* £7 received for an item I sold on Gumtr33, it's gone in the tin with the secret hidden lid for now
* i-S@y survey
* P0pulusLive credited my missing £4 from a survey I did in February. I'm glad I emailed them about it now
* 75SB earned
* £1 sweep into my FD savings account
* Relisted an item on eb@y where the buyer never contacted me. 5 watchers already :j
I've managed to find a home for my old sofa :j It's a charity so I'm glad that someone can make use of it, and it's been saved from landfill. Only problem is, they can't collect it until 2 weeks after my new sofa and armchair arrive. Going to be a bit of a squeeze :rotfl: On the plus side, my beautiful cat can't sit in all the seats at the same time so I won't have to perch anymore :rotfl::D
I'm going to Ike@ after work tomorrow night to buy a few bits. I've made a list and altogether it should come to £103......if I stick to my listI am going to allow a 5% leeway so that will cover a cheeky meatball purchase :rotfl: If I report in here tomorrow night having spent a penny over £108.15, you have my permission to tell me off

Good work Ena....get an ikea family card, even if you just use it for a free tea or coffee. I had one, lost it, logged on at the machine and got a "temporary" one plus a voucher for a free meal!!!!Jan 20 - NST challenge

Well done on getting your old sofa recycled for use by a charity. There used to be grants when people moved into a new place but had no money. Now there aren't, so a sofa can mean a lot. I've known people become socially isolated because they can't invite anyone in because there is nowhere for a guest to sit.
Have fun at IKEA

Thanks DIAAwww it does feel even better now. I'd hate to see it get dumped when someone could make use of it, and it's still perfectly good. Off to polish that halo now :A:rotfl:
