Simultaneously gold is heading below 1500 for the first time in over 2 years i think.
Dollars arent rising though just an offset of better perceived USA figures I think. Not sure what was driving bitcoin but would be funny if they ran parallel at all

I was just trying litecoin, it wont process though :(

Great, now engineers think that they are economists too

Far too lazy to read the article, but FWIW engineers are all about systems, modelling and optimisation. True engineers are probably better placed to comment on a financial system than (say) doctors, or lawyers, or many accountants.

In fact, many economists are so far wide of any accurate fortune-telling (~75% of actively managed funds under-perform the tracker IIRC), I wouldn't be convinced by what they had to say either.

I'd expect good historians to have a useful input though - it's not the first time we've seen such seeming irrationality.

Unfortunately most economists are t very good at economics.
  • It's the first currency that is not influenced by the action of banks, surely that is a good thing?

Who is the clown that wrote that?

And now "entrepeneurs" think they are economists too.

A risk taker who thinks inflation is brilliant.

    What a surprise.

    Replace "entrepeneurs" with gamblers
    Replace economists with investors
    Replace risk taker with anyone
    Replace inflation with deflation
Replace What a surprise with No surprise at all

    The rest is about right

I'm not a gambler, but I would bet that it took you ages to get that post formatted just the way you wanted it.
