Yup - I couldn't resist buying one, lowest price for a whole BTC on LBC was £325 - lowest price now is £375/BTC. Volatile is an understatement
As I said in my last post, the next hour or so will see Americans waking up to the these low prices and they will drive the price up again.
..... or they could start to panic sell and the price may drop.
Nobody knows, but I think a rise is much more likely.
The next couple of hours are going to be interesting either way.0 -

BTC/USD has already risen $100 in the last hour, it's almost 7:30am in NYC so there is already signs of positive movement.0 -
Can i ask why the current BTC price is £336 and sellers selling for £400?
Why are people buying at £400 from them when its only currently worth £336?0 -
There will always be a differential between buy and sell prices, but in the BTC world, that differential seems quite large. Localbitcoins currently shows £368.42 as the best "buy" and £323 as the best "sell" - quite a difference.0

Bitbargain seems a bit quiet and expensive then. Not many sellers selling more than 1-2 BTC.
Do people sell in quantities of 10 plus?
How quick is it to join localbitcoins and buy?0 -

That is the same with shares but with much lower spread between the buy & sell.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0 -
I signed up to LBC a little over a week ago and have done ~£8k in trades, I don't remember it being too onerous to sign up BUT some sellers are reluctant to sell to a newbie so you might need to look down the list for other newbies who are selling and build your feedback.0
