Telephone directory maybe.... Or maybe given the OP had registered the phone on their system it was a conformation letter giving details that, that phone is now linked to the account listed.

A while back I received a phone call from a chappie (fellow NATWEST customer) in Manchester who had my name, bank account number and sort code. It had been sent to him in a letter addressed to him!!! I had recently registered my mobile phone with them as it's insured under my bank account.

Mobile phone bit could be a red hering...
