  • when did you pass OP, 6 points could mean you have lost your license and well and duly deserved.

there is no course as far as i am aware that you can go on for not having insurance and tax and mot.

you took it out in the snow of things where you likely to bump the car into anything had you lost control, just to hop to the chemist?

i just hope that you passed your test 11 months ago and now facing being lightly punished by license loss.

you see, i struggle for cash, but i make sure im legal to drive, i dont see why the rules should be different for you and come here and have the ordasity to try and justify your actions is just hillarious.

do you live in a different world to us? (dont answer that its a retoricle question)
  • Anything up to 24 months from the day of the offence will see a revocation.

  • What I am asking is .... What is likely to happen? lose my licence, points or fine?

I am sorry I have offended you'se I never intended. The car has damaged under from a non-drop kerb this was why I left it up the path, I was looking into taxin' the some sort of 24hr insurance and of got the car fixed.

Stupidly I did take the car out and got caught. Also my drivinglocence was burnt in the house fire.so was the cars log book, Can the DVLA issue another as i need it for proof of ownership.

Sorry for my spelling some was done on my phone and it was auto-corrected.
  • I bump up and over the foot path every day to get my car onto my property. It's not a purpose built drive way like new build housing estates. It's just a back yard to a terraced house.

that's my problem but I wouldn't if i was you or do it with people in the car/loaded as it may damaged the under side like mine. IN future (if there's one) leave on the road and use bricks to get on/off kerb.

BTW theres tonnes of people bumping kerbs on our road.

    Rule 145_ ;
You MUST NOT drive on or over a pavement, footpath or bridleway except to gain lawful access to property, or in the case of an emergency.

I am gaining access to my property so hows that illegal?

Contrary to what the copper said, there's no course available for driving without insurance. If you weren't given a fixed penalty notice at the time then you should expect a summons at some point in the next 6 months or so. For driving without insurance you're likely to be fined around 150% of your weekly income (reduced by a third if you plead guilty) and get 6-8 points, or possibly a ban of up to 2 months. (See the sentencing guidelines, page 130) No tax and no MOT are minor offences in comparison - small fine and no points.

Yes they can - though there's a fee to pay. Click here and here.
  • By the way I am not looking for symphony I just had a house fire and my car at the time was useless.
I think you just need to face the music.
