I have now complained via email to nationwide regarding the non existant service received and surprise surprise... no response yet. Its been 3 days.

How long should I wait before complaining again or where do I go from here??

I have accounts with Nationwide and have recently asked for some paperwork to be sent out. They said it would be 5 working days. With the Easter bank holiday that will delay things.

I have found them pretty reliable in the past but you could always go into a branch and do it directly there. I did this when I first opened a Flexaccount and opened the account without any snags. Just remember to take in relevant ID. Good luck

Quick update. 10 working days later and still heard nothing! Tried to ring them but the new business team are not available at this time of night - the chap that I did speak to was lovely and said that he couldn't see an application showing on his system. He did offer to take me through another application but said it would mean another credit check. That doesn't bother me but the fact that the Nationwide suddenly can't see an application is puzzling me. Oh well, I'll just have to wait until tomorrow to see what is going on.
