Where does it say you are "entitled" to a refund?

''Should you wish to cancel your place(s) on your chosen hunt you must inform Night Vision Investigations without delay and the matter will be discussed with you regarding the possibility of a refund full or part.''

It doesn't state i'm not entitled to a refund either. It's really confusing.

All it says is they will discuss with you the possibility. They have and said no.

Surely they must put on their terms and conditions that people are not entitled to a refund under any circumstance. Their terms and conditions state above i'm entailed to cancel my event with the possibility of getting a refund. They don't state that you have to cancel within a certain time frame either.
And it may have been possible under different circumstances or with more notice, but nothing here says you are entitled to a refund.

Wouldn't this make their terms and conditions invalid as costumers are made to believe they are entailed to a refund if they wish to cancel the event for whatever reason?
How are they made to believe this? Not by the t&c above

If you go on ticket master or another site where you buy tickets, they make this very clear.
    Who did you book through?
Everything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the end

So you've discussed the possibility and been told 'no there is no possibility of a refund'?? Give the ticket(s) to someone else who can attend.

So it's purely up to them if they refund me or not? Looks like i'm just going to drink plenty of fluids and rest while i can then and hopefully get well by tomorrow. Either that or just treat a friend to them! Cheers guys.

TBH the last time I had proper flu I could get out of bed let alone worry about getting a refund from somewhere.

I know, £60 is a lot of money these days especially in this economic climate.

    That's about it.
Not sure why you assumed you had a right to your money back in the first place though.

What I'm saying is, if you can muster the energy to fight for your refund, can you muster the energy to go to your investigation?

Not being funny but proper flu will knock you on your backside. Posting on the internet and ringing round to get refunds wouldn't even factor during your short waking moments.

I just think people bandy the word "flu" around in place of "mild cold" a bit too much.

If they had people waiting or could sell the tickets at such short notice it sounds like they would have offered a refund as it happens they don't.
