Owe money to virgin from another house

Hi
I owe virgin some money from my now repo'ed ex marital home, I am in the process of moving into a council property that seems to have Virgin installed. Will I be able to sign up to them and would they chase me for the monies from the other house (its gone to debt recovery agency now)?
Thanks

phone up and ask but i suspect you know the answer in their eyes you is a bad risk. you owe them money debt recovery agency won't stop and along will come the county court judgement and then no one will touch you for six years it happened to a friend of mine at work. if you want save your bacon i suggest pay up now before it gets really bad and your whole credit file gets wrecked it really screwed up my friend he has barely kept his head above water lucky for him his girlfriend had no issues so virgin was in their house.

my credit file is wrecked beyond repair, i aim for bankruptcy within the next 6 months anyway. So the only way is if I get a family member to sign up and I do a standing order to replace what goes out on Direct Debit from said family members account?

problem you will have is they will have to produce 2 bills in their name at your address. so that maybe another issue also if council get wind of that they may think you are sub letting you need to be very careful.

You can bury yourself in this - especially if you are trying to misrepresent who the true customer is. The do ID and credit checks, so one might pass, yet fail because the data doesn't match. Further the real customer has to agree to having their dealings disclosed to a CRA.

You are asking a great deal of a family member - especially if the arrangement is discovered.

I understand but wondered how could they produce bills even I couldnt do that since I only moved in today? Will I face this problem with all suppliers because of my credit history?

I've never had to produce any bills when taking out services at any address I've lived at.

I really need to know what other options I have for internet access, I dont really care about TV since I dont watch it. Wondering if i spoke to council first to make sure it doesnt ruffle any feathers or is my only option a dongle if all the other suppliers are ruled out?

I didn't say there won't be any problems?

I merely pointed out I've never had to provide bills when taking Broadband/TV services at any address I've lived at.
