Herbalus, you can indeed use faster payments to spend more than the credit limit each month, but there is little point as the cashback is limited to £100 per annum. I'm happy just to take advantage of the interest free period.

Now that the card is no longer available to new applicants how long will it be before the cashback is reduced for existing cards?

This depends what your credit limit is. A number of people, including myself, were only given credit limits of £250 per month, which isn't enough to gain £100 cashback. To earn £100 that you would need to spend and average of £277.78 each month, which on a £250 limit is only possible if you use faster payments that enable you to spend more than this £250 limit.

There is much speculation about when/if they will change the current deal, but no one can say for sure.
