    Thanks everyone.

    Trying out sims from different providers sounds the best route to take although.. i am an Iphone 4S user. Can i still get different sims?

    Yes you can but the phone would have to be an unlocked one to try the different sims.

    What may be an idea is to download one of the signal apps and go to the new house to see which towers show up with a good signal
