Can i ask then if i joined Orange on 28th December and received my first bill on 14th January which also covered 15th Jan to 14th Feb. My 6th month will be the 15th May? Called orange but asked them which would be my 6th bill, June they said, of course 6th bill isn't 6th month i now realise! Lets hope i can get it sent off tomorrow.

The final cashback cheque has now been received. I did not have to resort to taking legal action in the end.

I spoke today to the phone number shown above, and the cs asssistant confirmed that my claim (confirmed by Royal Mail as delivered on 4 May) had been accepted, but that it had not been processed until 30 May and it was "necessary" to delay payment by up to 28 days from then. I had a mild poke at their breaking T&Cs, but since retaliation is still in their hands, did not pursue it further.

Looks like they are postponing cheques for all they are worth, but payment will come eventually.

Make sure you are sending the right bills in, in time. Orange have a double first bill so the sixth month bill is actually the fifth one that I received which almost made me miss the first payment.

Finally, send everything recorded delivery.

Good luck, I have received each of mine I claimed with no problems from The Link although they can be slow.

I have a orange contract and myslef also received the double month first bill. When I contacted thelink team, they said, I have to send the 1 & 6th bill, so its 2nd month bill and 7th month bill. I hope I get the cashback
