There's something just wrong about these scarves. https://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash4/p480x480/1014089_556250694421743_377832687_n.png

Of course with price ,match/brand match and judicious use of two 'next customer' dividers at checkout you can of course benefit from the specials at both Mr S and Mr T whilst only visiting one store or the other. (saying that I went to both today, Mr T had given me a 12 quid of 80 till spit last week expiring today but there are some things that I just can not stand the Mr T version of).
A big spend for me is about £12. It's very doubtful I'd ever find any saving more than 10p a fortnight..... and it'd take me 4-5 hours of stressing about it and the shop'd be closed.

My way it chooses which of the two directions I go in.

Neither shop is large either, so no great choice, certainly neither has the full range of food, so any planned shopping would be scuppered by empty shelves.

NEVER ..... have I ever spent £80. ONCE in my life I might have spent £40. Usually the only time I'd ever even reach £25 or so would be a big shop, at Xmas, when I am really stocking up and have a freezer.

You do know about disposable BBQs don't you?
Yes, they cost £2, which is a lot of money when you're trying to heat up £0.40 of sausages :)

They also burn grass, and then need to be disposed of. An expensive way to eat a burger/couple of sausages.

LiR, I hope the hot water-bottle-tootsies are suitably shod today.

And finally...our mortgage seems to have been approved with a drive-by valuation within about a week of submitting the docs which isn't ideal as I am hoping to stall on the purchase while the planning happens so was hoping the mortgage company would take their time - time to book a full structural survey for 3 or 4 weeks time methinks...

We would have done the FSS before the mortgage application, saves on fees if the survey is bad.

They had gone down a bit over night (we had a terrible night, we work up every twenty minutes it seemed. It was hardly worth sleeping...but I kept the silly feet raised on pillows (or DH) nonetheless) and I squeezed them into my better soft driving shoes this morning. But after just a few hours gentle pottering they are swelling again. :(.

Not much I can do about it but laugh, drink lots and take pills.

For some reason, as someone who never really cares much about celebrity stuff, the whole saatchi/lawson thing has made me sad...hmm, pensive more than sad maybe.

Michaels, its crazy different to three years ago where trying to get our application through within the very tight time period we had for here was a night mare, we literally had to drive it through like neurotic people. Waiting lists were crazy. For the remortgage we kind of wanted to tie them in to the offer while it took them a while to drive by.......did it in a week......now we are dithering....a fix is comfort but it will probably end just as rates are at their highest, lol.

I was searching for information on painted pebbles, for an article and was at the stage where I cast the search net wider, to look for other names that might be used for the same thing...... and an artist had posted that on their facebook page.

Edit: Here's my proof that's what happened, see entry for 25 June https://en-gb.facebook.com/MadebyMogCrusoe?ref=stream&hc_location=stream&filter=3
