The next time I am seeing you, don't expect flowers, I am bringing you meat.
I don't really buy meat. Pack sizes are too big. If I buy a packet of sausages I have to consider the use by date and if I will really be able to cook/eat four meals of sausages between now and then (also bearing in mind the dates of other food I've got at home and in my basket). Fish fingers are a nuisance as they come in a pack of 10.

So, mostly, it's best just to not buy/use meat as it's a big food commitment in the coming days.

For some reason, as someone who never really cares much about celebrity stuff, the whole saatchi/lawson thing has made me sad...hmm, pensive more than sad maybe.
Yep - next year's Nigella Xmas Cooking special isn't a glowing, large house, filled with people and fun, she'll be toasting marshmallows over a tealight in a bedsit alone :)

That looks fanatastic. What fun to have a band and a movie. Definitely worth a POSH ALERT.

There was an outdoor cinema at a wedding we attended last year which is my only experience of such things outside of a festival.

One of the most unusual (but fun) weddings I went to had no speeches. It was a carvery meal in a huge barn on a lovely sunny day, & as everyone finished eating the groom stood for what everyone thought was the speeches. There were none. Instead he directed everyone to make their way to the ice-cream van that was pulling up on the car park!

Murray: the lad done good. I thought 3-0 flattered him a little but he was certainly good for it. I think the British/Scottish debate is now closed. At what point does he become English?

Top top person is Andy Murray. Very funny (dry with it) & a lot more intelligent than most give him credit. Dedicated too.

Tends to be narrow minded middle england who dislike him. & xenophobes.

There is also photographic evidence that he is highly intellingent:

I tried that line, but it didn't get me anywhere.

What makes you sad about it? If he treats her like that, then he doesn't deserve her surely?

Eurovision 2014 is 6/8/10 May (See, I did do something useful this morning), where is TBD.

Let the 'Oh no, I need to rebook my hotel room' mayhem begin! :D

Isn't treating her 'like that' something to be sad about too?

The whole thing is kind of depressing. They are two people who should have 'everything', deposited a lot of sadnesses in their lives...even those should have contributed to their everything and understanding of what is precious.

Next years might be more genuine even?

All this BBQ/food talk made me wonder..... do NPs eat bigger portions than me? I know, at a BBQ, with unlimited food, we'd all tuck away a good 8 things..... before being unable to move or ever want to even mention food again, but what's a "normal portion" when you're mentally planning to eat/feed?

    Here's mine:

    Sausages: 2
    4oz Burgers: 1
Fish fingers: 2-3 (brain says 2, eyes say 3)
