We are changing to a mega flow cylinder as it means all showers/baths etc can work at the same time (rather than one run cold as the feed goes to something else) as it was kind of the point for them to be used at the same time.
It's about £1500 plus fitting and removes the need for a tank in the loft too.
None of the showers need to be power showers once it is fitted.
We currently have a power shower and it is noisy butnot annoyingly so.
How is your water pressure? We have a one tank mains pressure system as when they measured the pressure and volume at 11AM it was fine - however on our street the pressure drops to the legal minimum between 6.30 and 8.30 when everyone is showering and we can then only have one shower or a slowly running bath at a timeI think....0 -
Had a bit of news...we just found out OH is a part Jewish.
His mother isn't great at family history just found out her mother's parents were either both Jewish or just one (we don't know) but they disowned her when she was late teens and pregnant with an illegitamate child. They were wealthy but lost it all during the 30's....and so she never trusted banks.
Anyway, she never saw them again, went on to have a 2nd illegitamate child then married another man and had a further 3. He was very abusive (in all the worst possible ways) + died aged 36.
She never mentioned or practised her religion at all....maybe her parents didn't either but we'll never know.
So he could be 1/4 or 1/8.0 -

We had it checked and it had to be minimum 12 ba / bar / bah (?) I think. Ours was really high...about 15 I think and we are on top of a hill.
I think only the 6 houses in our dead end feed off the main as we are cut off from all the others on the other side of the hill. Would that be right?0 -

But a hand held still does things a fixed ceiling cannot, like when shaving legs and cleaning feet and toenails properly. And, as you say, clean the thing.0 -

I do this. Yes the bathroom gets splashed.I get in the shower, I take it off the wall, then I point it at the base (away from my feet), then I turn on the shower and wait until the water's got warm before replacing the unit and stepping under the water.

Naa, the posh alert is michaels lights telling you the temperature of the water.
Anyone still have a bidet? Latest thing is a "muslim shower". We have neither.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. 15 bar would be huge and probably blow most plumbing joints, pressure is also lower up a hill and higher at the bottom. 2-3 bar is normal.I think....0

MY parents insist every bathroom has a bidet, I can't see when you would want to wash just your feet. Posh is our shower with no door or tray just an angled floor at all as the bathroom is designed to get wet (did I mention that the tiles are Carrera marble?)I think....0 -
