Eletric power shower will never give as much flow as a tank fed system and is noisy.
In our Ensuite we have a ceiling 'drencher' that has LEDs that show blue for water too cold and red for too hot and a normal wall shower on a height adjustable rail in the walk in 'wet' shower and then the tub has a wall mounted mixer with a waterfall spout and a seperate hand shower...
Do you think I should have the hand shower on the tub then?
Your shower sounds really good.
I'd prefer a quiet shower, but tbh, hot water of any reliable sort with some power sounds fab.0 -

If you got a written quote for the work, that's the price you should pay.
If it was a written estimate, then the extra would be payable.
Thing is - you probably had a verbal estimate over the phone.
It is written but includes both the words quote and estimate...
500l at 45l per person suggests you are expecting to have 11 people in the house - are you planning on opening a b&B or is it for the nice people swingers party next year?I think....0 -

Well DW is the shower queen whereas I like a soak in the tub but use the shower over the tub for hair washing.I think....0 -

House should have six double bedrooms by the time we are finished, so yeah.
Does it have to be either or?0 -

I thought I could shower , wash hair, then bath.....:D
This is longer term the 'family' bathroom, not the master one...(most of the rooms with have en suite showers though)0 -
It's been snowing most of the day in Kent. Doesn't mean the dogs want to stay inside and relax, though. Doesn't mean Isaac does, either!...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0

There've been some minor snow flurries here.... nothing even close to settling and, once fallen, the flakes immediately melt.0

Yes, that's what it has been like here too. The cake wasn't frozen this morning either.0 -

(Edit...in the bathroom that is next on the list, the one in the back bedroom...we are talking about having both a 'ceiling showerand a wall one....for rinsing. . We were also talking about having a shower head in the bath for rinsing, but I think that might be excessive. And less 'aesthetic'. How many shower heads does one need in one bathroom anyway....
There are times when you need a hand held shower rather than a ceiling shower. Particularly with families.
There are also times when a hand held shower in a shower unit would be a plus. So you can have a quick shower without messing up your hair!I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Yep, the two for the shower are agreed, the thing I am wondering is if I need a shower in the bath....you raising families suggests yes?0
