LL has put in another unexpected/early-ish visit. No idea what they're doing but I know they're out around the boundaries/somewhere .... and have been since 8.15. Can't go and look to see else I might have to speak to them.
Edit: Well, first I looked out the front window and they were right by my door and front way, titfering about and picking up leaf debris.
And, as I started typing this ... LL's face just popped over the fence, with a paintbrush. They're creosoting the fence panels. How bizarre.... that's my neighbour's family garden now .... and the LL's turned up to creosote. All unannounced/unexpected.
So, I can't sit in here wondering what'll happen next. Going to have a drive out and have a cig.0 -
Yup. Never said I was nice. Don't worry though, I was trained by the best (a.k.a. my mum) and she definitely gave as good as she got (or maybe its me who gave as good as I got).
Was just pointing out that Spirit's daughter was not alone (not to excuse her behaviour).
Its also mean to suggest that Spirit's daughter's birthday should be cancelled though
I'm not nice either. I think its understandable that without very, very clear boundaries its going to be tricky to establish healthy living situation. And I've done it and am in favour of it generally!
Any way up, dressed ( in trousers I didn't expect to fit, though, have not lost any on upper half of body) and wearing make up.......I think I've adjusted to last weeks dose
Non resident parent cancelled so I'm just going to see a client quickly this morning then poodle off to the local town to buy doggy food and salad then slowly pootle home. If wobbly will have a drink out.0 -
hello again, nice people! I wanted you to know that I am thinking about you, but I am just too busy to post anything worthwhile. See you all later! No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0

A quick stop by from me again.
Wanted to wish Spirit and Bugslet a belated happy birthday.
Also to silver, very saddened by local news. I was in the area further up the same line when similar happened a few months back. It must fill the poor drivers with dread to have two incidents close together on the same line in a few months. Whenever I heard the trains honk their horns after that it would make me shudder. So sad for the families and friends of the children, the train drivers and the police/ambulance services who had to deal with this. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? A friend works for one of the train companies and it's horrific for the drivers. Some get back in the saddle, some never do. They all get counselling afterwards. Of course they then have to go through it all again at the inquest, but very often the family of those that have died, take time to speak with the driver and tell them that they were in no way to blame.0 -
Everything happens in threes.
Last night two teenagers died on the train track near here.
Today the headmistress of the local school died suddenly, just a few weeks before she was due to retire.
Yep. Similarly at work we've had 3 people's fathers pass on in a very short space of time.:(It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -
Spirit, I'd tell her to grow up and not be so self centred.
It was your day !!!!!!, & you'd made concessions for her on your day.
To have that thrown back in your face (& in the bin) deserves a slap! It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -
Survived the shop. Felt with it.
Feet now the size of, um, big feet.
.
Definitely feeling more human. Just recovering before picking up the vomited up mice left for me while I was out. (Not great when you feel very human)0 -
Oh, poor lir, do you think they brought them for you to make you feel better?

Not great any time, I reckon!
Nice cool drink, sitting down, feet up. That's what I recommend....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0
