I had no idea what you were talking about. And I thought that you meant Alex James as in bass played in Blur/ cheese maker!

Pretty funny stuff. Bet he doesn't believe a word of what he says but just makes money out of shouting about it all. Ironically just as bad as the corporates he rails against.0 -

You might like the time waster letters if you have a puerile sense of humour but I don't think it would work well on kindle as they often don't put the pictures in which are the funniest part.
No, no mills and Boon, I want easy and relaxing, not infuriating and wit dulling.:D0 -
Thanks. Will look at all suggestions tomorrow.
We're having pits and pieces supper. These are my favourite sort of left over suppers that we rarely get to enjoy alone as a couple,as they tend to be mid week things I think but they are often better than the well planned meals because they are morsels of favourite things. Like clumsy canap!s I guess. We also have a big bowl of cherries.0 -

I had an Iranian lamb stew. It was a mountain of rice and an almost black very rich sauce that was much too salty for me. I couldn't eat it.0 -

Even though you make it sound off putting I still want to taste it. How odd is that? I think its the idea of salt on a hot day.
I've had to call it a day now. My feet are so swollen I can hardly walk. I'd like to wobble out with dh to bring the geese in, so trying to keep feet up for the next while......bed is really tempting right now though!0 -
We had spagbol for dinner. Well, farfalle bol anyway. Made it properly, took effing four and a half hours to cook. It was delicious though!0
