Finally, some sun. With a sea breze.
I'll watch a bit of telly, have a shower/wash my hair, load the car up with tins for recycling, make up a cheese/pickle baguette, grab my camera (wish I'd charged the battery now) .... and see what's out there.

    Enjoy! ...

Well ... typical British weather, that you can't rely on or plan ahead with .... it's gone dark now. Grey clouds overhead, sun disappeared. Cool.

    Thanks. No hat then:(

She will be a curate at the Cathedral so we will not 'go off'.

The bugslet theory on dressing is that you can never be overdressed. You can be in full length evening dress and the other 100 people in jeans and ts - they are underdressed, you have it spot on.

No, I'm mostly in awe at your tenacity. I did read your explanation, but please don't come back and ask me questions. Did you factor in your time/shoe leather and petrol costs? :p I do use pricerunner and kelkoo and buy via a nectar/avios outlet, but that's about my limit:cool:

Repotted my 12 cucumbers last night. Hope they'll kick on with the next stage of growing.

Did another load of weeding again. Still loads of weeding to do, but only 1 area left now!

Composters are overflowing, & the lawn needs a mow!

I think being labelled "a naughty child" came from an adult/teacher saying something and me just asking/querying something about it - and them trying to ignore me and crack on with their self-absorbed teaching moment ... but I needed to know, so kept asking.

PN, that whole story is a teacher fail, not a pupil (you) fail, in my book.

I was a child who asked questions in exactly that way, but I was fortunately not lablled as a pain, I got answers!
My worst moment in the past year or so was when I realised that there was something inside the leg of my jeans.... and I realised it was yesterday's knickers (thong). So, I had to get it out and into my pocket without anybody realising :)

    Thong?

They always make me think of dental floss, but applied in a sensitive area (-:
I'll eat the rabbit, then do that job.

Always been fascinated by the thought of going through books to spot where "it went wrong", or to spot strange movements.

I think forensic accountancy is often much, much duller than that. It's about going through endless books and finding a few questions, having written hundreds of pages of schedules of cash in / cash out, etc.

My 3 month case earlier this year involved hundreds of hours' work by forensic accountants, who ended up establishing that the accounts didn't really show anything either way.
...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.
