The magnolia at work is glorious ATM. :)

The Magnolias are amazing this year. Simply covered in blossom.

The cold weather has held everything back. Surely, the oak tree should have leaves on it by now? I assume that the cold weather has been beneficial to the magnolias in some way I can't fathom.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

I just looked at houses ... two to investigate further.... and I found the first one had been bought at the peak for £170k, Zoopla says it's now worth £158k. They are asking £200k. They have put in a new (bog standard) bathroom and the rest of it's still shabby/dated (old people style). So, seriously optimistic. That one's been on the market since Feb '12 when it went on at £205k. I won't be viewing that one.

Second one's on at £197k. Checked sold prices and another, better/bigger one sold 4 months ago for £170k, two previous at £185k and £183k (Dec '12 and Oct '12). So another overpriced idiot.

But there is still a difference between asking and sold prices, 197 might sell for 180-185 which is in line with 183 and 185.
    I think....

I will admit to taking a Bic to my two big toes about once a year :)

I was thinking perhaps you were drawing on little faces a LIRs suggestion above but I guess bic don't just do pens.

Magnolias are good, but last year they were also amazing. I remember pulling over to look at a few last year so amazed was I. And they are not my favourite tree.

Our magnolia took a crushing blow a few weeks ago when the ash tree above it shed a dead brand which landed bang central on the magnolia and sliced it in half from tip to base. Considering the tiny amount of stuff planted in our back garden that was stunningly bad luck!

Old stylers use nappy pins or saftey pins at meet ups I think, to identify themselves. We could draw eyes on an inner thigh. It would be a hoot at a meeting in a public place. Note I paid attention when typing 'public'

A friend (not hypothetical :)) said she went somewhere new for leg waxing, and they attacked her toes before she could query. Now she asks every now and then.

Is that because she wants to keep any toe hair or to get rid of it?

That cream for dissolving hair (smells awful!!!) why don't people use that instead of waxing/shaving?

To get rid. Don't think it needs doing as often as the legs.

Its quite harsh. And smelly. And hair reappears more quickly (than waxing/ epilating).
