Drunkeness makes most people more friendly. It's a poor state to make a judgement in. Emailee was foolish at best to do so IMO.

Please let your hypothetical characters stay slightly less drunk next time. They are precious.

Good advice. Emailee feels terrible about situation, and doesn't want it to happen again. With this, or any other hypothetical emailers.

Back to reality... Watching film on channel 4 'love and other drugs', filled with references to pfizer (including logo). Wouldn't have thought they would allow that? Think its a romcom... why would that be good advertising?

It is natural for the hypothetical emailee to feel terrible about maybe having given the wrong impression, but actually she shouldn't. The emailer shouldn't be making assumptions about her wishes (when sober and receiving the email) solely based on her friendliness (even if it was over-friendliness) when drunk.

I wish there was some hypothetical way for the email to get "accidentally" forwarded to the hypothetical wife, which would be what the hypothetical emailer deserves.

Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

    Emailee should stop feeling terrible.

It's life, emailee is enjoying it and emailer sounds like a bit of a xxxx.

Don't let the idiots change emailee, just make sure she always gets home safely and with who she wants to, able to remember any indiscretions so she can at least have the similarly important to the game of life cringing the next day.

No, not nice at all. I hope the less invasive alternative is suitable, and comes along quickly.

I hope so too (but not quoting the original email as requested). Hugs.

Well, Pfizer make viagra, don't they? Maybe they feel a link in that direction is no bad thing. I remember seeing a documentary about it years ago. They were trying to develop a treatment for high blood pressure, and when they got to the stage of testing it on healthy volunteers to check for side effects, the side effects reported sent their research in a whole new direction. Then they found themselves trying to design a clinical trial for it, and wondering how to quantify the effects...

We had that film on DVD rental the weekend of the food poisoning birthday. I don't remember it dh says it was boring at first but got better.

Anything that forges a link that makes the company the 'thing' (profound lack of words tonight. E.g. Hoover for vacuum, coke for cola is a good thing for brand. Good or bad publicity can do this.

I'm worried that drug companies find it easier (and much much cheaper) to market drugs than develop genuinely new better ones at greater expense. They'd love it if we knew zidovudine as AZT or diazepam as Valium. Which more-or-less happens.

I'm hearing generally good things about that 5+2 diet. The key is how seriously you fast on the two days. Seems to be genuinely good at keeping diabetes at bay for example.

I'm guessing that the emailee might be quite concerned that they gave the emailer the wrong impression entirely. And would be very relieved that nothing happened.
Boy am I pleased that this is all hypothetical...

    Ignore.
Maybe don't erase in case he's a higher-up who might be a funny !!!!!! about you later in the day.;)

I watched part 2 of a very interesting programme about Alfred Wallace earlier. When that finished at 9, it was OH's turn to choose so now we are watching a programme about ladyboys on sky living.................

They are definitely name-checking a lot of products. Still not sure a drugs rep pretending to be a doctor is the best advert though!

Without wishing to hypothetically suggest that the hypothetical emailee is not hypothetically alluring, I expect (on the basis that I know quite a few idiots who think they are "players" - hypothetically, of course) that this is not the first time that the hypothetical emailer has done this and that they may do this every time they come across a single girl to see if, hypothetically, they are "up for it". Expect it will end messily for the hypothetical emailer if he happens to be that sort of person (hypothetically).
