DH took the recycling this morning.

Sorted through a pile of tapes and CDs and got rid of some. This was a bonus.

Another binbag stuffed for CS.. I have loads to go. I MUST do something with the landing this week, it isn't safe at all so that is my motivation. I have a sofa going to DS1's later this week which will mean the sofabed can be rehomed/binned and I can do a furniture reshuffle hopefully gaining some space and some sanity!!

I feel your pain with the plates.

I have the same issue with mugs. There are only 4 of us in the house now, and me and DS don't drink brews - maybe the odd hot vimto. Anyway, in my cupboard I must have 30 mugs. When I try to [STRIKE]chuck them out[/STRIKE] dispose of them carefully, my DD3 starts the ...'Oh but I like that one', 'that is one that I got for Christmas' etc. I mean how many mugs do you need? 1 each and 1 each for in the wash? 8 for the household. NOT 30 mismatched mugs. They aren't even pretty!

So perhaps I should sneak them out. She will never notice;)

We have the same problem with mugs, especially logo ones...

My husband seems to break things 'accidentally ' when he doesn't want them any more.

    I've seriously considered this.... :A

I tend to break the things I love, sadly....probably because I use them more and they are not at the back of the cupboard!:rotfl:

    IT'S ALL GONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    My hallway is all echoey!!!

I have since filled another bag but it is only 1 and I remembered to put the boxes from the front room out to go too.

I am on with the landing.. it is taking forever!! I have some bits to sell, some boxes for the loft and a fair bit bagged up to leave.. CS, dd1 and the bin! I have a small new Ebeaast pile and listed 5 items from the stuff I pictured the other day.

Right on with a little more.. I want at least to be able to vacuum the landing today.. right now I can't even see it!!!

I'm always so impressed with you, pigpen.

We got the clean washing packed away from the line last night.

Cleaned out my bag this morning. Shredded some confidential waste.

Also got excited about finding some money off coupons but then found they'd expired in April. They are gone now.

I think we took our old vacuum to recycling too yesterday but will have to confirm that with DH.

There is something really grim about sitting in the bath and seeing a couple of fly legs float past..... They must have got caught in my hair when I was hoovering the files off the velux.

On that note I am going to ignore the attic today and tidy up some other stuff today. And find a headscarf or something for when I do venture back there, that'll be nicely old style.

I'm impressed with myself today WW.

In addition to the crud being collected this morning I've sorted several boxes from the landing .. as a result I have..

2 binbags for chazzer.. yes I know it all went this morning!!
listed 5 items on ebeast and 3 on fb selling pages.
1 binbag of rubbish including... DD3's very broken tablet.
I put 50 items in a box and sold them for £15
.. but 2 people wanted it, so I filled another and sold it for £20

I then posted a knitting book I'd sold for £5

I found a funny flat brown thing .. OH sad it is the landing carpet.. I wasn't sure but vacuumed it all the same
