  • Congrats on the job. Nearer to home is great - and you seem to have an opportunity with the second job which will help. I hope it's what you want (don't lose sight of you in all this...)

Good luck on the healthy eating and exercise. It seems to go hand in hand, doesn't it, tackling bad money habits and bad lifestyle habits? Don't lose heart - you've done so well so far and it's so much easier to run up debts than to pay them off.

    Take care.

Hi GBOT thanks. You are so right about being easier to run up debt than pay back. I need to do banking today i had to spend lots yesterday. Got DS his laptop, new clothes for DD and a little shopping. DS has the money although OH used it for car so that needs putting back into my account today.
On a positive note OH did not use his visa for extra money he just owes me.
Really need to start tracking again i think.:):)
DD has also smashed her IPAD screen :eek::eek:

Hi Shinner, when we first started paying back debts it felt like money was being drained out of our pockets all over the place. Car repairs, and breaking kitchen appliances, vet bills etc etc. Then it seemed to get easier (or maybe we just got a bit more practice)

Keep it up, you're doing really well. And well done on the new job

Well been on the bank and considering i have not been on for over 2 wks i have done not bad. Once i have the money in my bank for the laptop i have done really well. Although i feel i need to tighten my belt again. Need to invest in some new trainers for work going to try and get some cheap ones. That reminds me must tell HMRC amount i have spent on these since 08/09 may get some back then if i actually reply.

Lets hope it does, i know i am in for a long road but patience is something i lack lol. More expense on DD extra training and comp fees be to £20. Think i need to plant one of those money trees.
Sent HMRC letter off today had to get a stamp mam had one so it was free, although 2nd class.
