I disagree about Rigby & Peller, I went to the one at Brent Cross and the girl looked at me and said 34G. I said noooo. When I tried on the bras she brought which didnt meet across the back, she agreed with me that actually I am a 36d/dd. Bravissimo are much better.

Someone else I heard of also went to the Brent Cross one and was told she would be better off in M&S for her size (42F).

When I was pregnant I went to Mothercare wearing a 38E to get some (bigger) maternity bras. Woman told me I was a 36B - hahahahaha. Made me try on tiny bra that gave me about eight mini boobs round the outside. Awful.

Am currently a 38F, and any bra that costs under £30 is prob going to be bad fit, so I only have about 5 at any one time.

I'm quite tall and a bit chunky so dont look silly as I have big hips - pear shaped?
  • I went into Primark last weekend (don't get there very often as its in the next town from me), and I couldn't believe it when I saw they were doing bras in my size and up to a G cup (I'm a 40E now - too much o/s cooking  ) - I got so excited I had to pick up a few - prices were £3 and £4. They are ok, some plain, some nice & lacey enough - but no matching knickers though  If I didn't have my DD with me, I would have gone into the ann summers shop, as I picked up a nice set in there last time I went - on sale of course :p

  • I was told that I would take different sizes in different styles at the Bravissimo in Manchester.I am a34J in the sports bra which is also very minimising,34H in the t-shirt bra32 HHin the black lacey number.Looks like i get the prize for biggest boobs in Britain!I only go to Bravissimo and even then I get fitted in person. They do their own strappy tops. It is all very expensive but most of my other clothes are from Tesco and Matalan or Asda so I make the bras my priority.

Style wise I always go for v-nesks and those wrap around ballet style tops. Also a long necklace will elongate the look. Baggy sweatshirts or fleeces make me look like a large football with 2 little legs sticking out.
