Yes, apparently many people did this about Jimmy Saville and look how that ended:(

Or the space shuttle, look how that ended, or the 911 twin towers, look how that ended.
Dont forget ww2 as well and the death camps.

If this woman is half the nut job the OP makes out, then informing authorities upon her wont gain her any wealth, or save her any money in real terms, it will just put her at risk of violence and intimidation.
The Authorities are already dealing with the miscreant, it is very easy to throw words about, do this , do that, from behind your computer screen.
In real life situations, sometimes you have to mind your own business to keep yourself and your family safe from harm .
    Trouble rarely makes itself.

My take is that I go to great financial lengths to make sure my car is fully road legal so I don't see why others should not do the same. As others have said, this offender (or one like her) may well run into your car one day... and then perhaps you would of been glad had someone shopped them previously.

I always report such cars that I see being driven with no/excessively expired tax discs. Normally there are other offences being committed as well as is with this case.
    PLEASE NOTE

Yes my friend used to work for the DVLA lifting cars with no tax.

They regularly assisted the cops taking cars of drug dealers. In payment for drugs keys to cars would be handed over. Of course the person never signed for the car, it was purely collateral so tax etc would expire. Lifted BMW M3's the lot.
What if there was no such thing as a rhetorical question?
  • Uninsured drivers are a menace on the roads.

not entirely true, just because someone is uninsured doesnt mean they lack driving skills to be a manace if they were a menace on the roads dont you think they would draw attention to themselfs?

spacey, there is no way on earth i would allow a neighbour to repeatedly drive knowing they have no insurance possibly no license etc, i would call 101 or crimestoppers, as a john doe or jane doe and give them specific details and approximate times the vehicle is being used, reg number name of the person if known, their address,or at very least a description of the person driving and know that there will be no repercussions on myself for doing so.

your post suggests because this person is know to be violent that the OPS actions would put them in danger, how could this happen when the OP offers no name or adress to identify herself/himself and the person commiting the crime has no idea or any means to find out who grassed on them.

They are a menace because ther are NOT insured - though you may not agree until you are involved in accident with a car driven by an unisured driver....

+1 for this. As well as the obvious risk to life and limb, this dodging increases insurance premiums for the rest of us honest people.

no, they are a danger and a risk, not a manace a menace has a whole different term.

"an uninsured driver is a danger to our society"

"an uninsured driver is a manace to our society" -doesnt have that ring to it as the above example!.

i do get what you meant but the terminology used i dont get, but thats me, or is it my ADHD?

Very interesting to see my post removed.

The term "grassed up" is commonly used by criminals.
Perhaps one of the moderators would care to explain to me just why the post in question was removed, as I made no direct reference to the person in question.

Yes you did, accusing someone of being a criminal was not your best moment, especially as you could not be further from the truth if you tried.
I have no problem, with anyone discussing or debating, but I draw the line at you using such derogatory terms, you certainly would not speak to me in such a way personally, that I can guarantee, Nor would I to you , so some civility goes a long way.
