Hi, can't you freeze the chicken and use as you need it?
It doesn't have freeze instructions, so I wasn't sure. It was from the cooked meats aisle. It might be worth a try though, at least if it is ruined I've only wasted 30p and if it works, I can buy lots more bargains when I find them and then freeze them as well! :T
I'll have a look through the chicken recipes link and see what I can find that I can make tomorrow!0 -
I'd freeze them in portion sizes. It works with HM cooked chicken so good luck!!0

It may have been previously frozen, so shouldn't really be refrozen. You could cook it up with a basic tomato sauce, and freeze that, then you have the basis for lots of different dishes, pastas, casseroles, etcA kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0

That depends on whether the previous freezing was before or after it was cooked. However, I'd not be quite so worried - I regularly freeze cooked meat from the supermarket, and with Ocado at least, the packet usually indicates that it's ok.Mortgage started on 22.5.09 : £129,600Overpayments to date: £3000June grocery challenge: 400/6000

I've got some leftover chicken and I want to make a curry tomorrow. But got a busy day, so want to use my slow cooker - can I safely cook already cooked chicken in the slow cooker? And has anyone got any tried and tested yummy slow cooker recipes???
Thank you
