Three Mobile?
Options
Hi,
I am looking at changing to a sim only with three and cancelling my existing T-mobile 1 month rolling contract as Three offer unlimited data and I use the internet quite a lot.
Has anyone any experience of dealing with the Three network?
Thanks in advance

It's good. Fast speeds and the best internet service for any uk network. only thing to bear in mind is that if you want to tether you need to be on the one plan which is £25pm. Otherwise you can only use the unlimited data on other tariffs on your phone.0 -
Yes - I have nothing but praise for their data packages - I pay £3.40 per month for 500mb, 200 mins and 5000 texts. I've not found any supplier that comes close. The monthly rate includes a Quidco rebate on their Sim 200 plan which has a standard rate of £6.90 for a 12 month minimum commitment.0

how? That's a great price!0 -
I find Three's network to be fast, although it can struggle indoors some places (most of my local pubs!). Check network coverage in your house, workplace and other places you plan to use it.
The 12-month SIMs tend to be better value, especially with cashback from Quidco or Topcashback.0 -
Get a PAYG sim first in an unlocked phone and check everywhere you spend time indoors.
I have had a three phone for 12 months and cant get a signal at home or anywhere at work unless I am outside in the car park.
I struggle also at my mothers, its seems as though any indoor signal struggles greatly to get in/out.
The data speed is fantastic when you do have a signal, if you live in city centre London then you will no doubt be fine, elsewhere not so good.
My experience is home (North Wales/Chester area) work (Birkenhead area)
Both dire indoors!! fine outside though and neither 'in the sticks'.
In fact you do get a signal in some remote areas of the countryside oddly - probably again because you are outside.
out of a 24 hour day I reckon ill pick up a signal for about 2 or three hours (whilst outside).0 -
I just wanted to thank you for all your replies and advice.
I have chosen the 30 day rolling sim from 3 which comes with 600 mins, ultd texts and unltd internet for £18 per month.
I do have bad credit so didn't want to risk getting rejected for a 12 month sim.
Thanks again! :beer:0 -
